Dit is voor u die de kansen om het noorderlicht te zien wilt maximaliseren – en de behoefte aan geluk wilt minimaliseren! Het hoofddoel is eenvoudig : het noorderlicht met u op de foto zien en fotograferen met behulp van onze professionele camera's en jarenlange fotografiekennis. We rijden zo ver als nodig, zelfs over de grens naar Zweden als daar de lichten zijn. De totale tourduur ligt tussen de 4 en 6 uur, afhankelijk van de omstandigheden van de nacht. We hebben talloze locaties rond Lapland verkend. Ons team monitort live noorderlichtgegevens 24/7, satellietwolkkaarten en weermodellen gedurende de dag. Zodra we bevestigen dat de omstandigheden goed genoeg zijn, gaan we verder. En als we bewegen, zetten we ons volledig in: we rijden zo ver als nodig is - soms 50 km, soms 200 + km - om een heldere lucht te vinden en het licht te zien. We gaan waar het noorderlicht is – en we nemen je mee!

We monitoren continu zonnewindbewegingen om te weten wanneer het noorderlicht op zijn best is. Het is aan te raden om te reserveren voor de eerste dag van uw aankomst. Als de prognose voor de geboekte dag slecht is, verplaatsen we de reservering naar de volgende dag enzovoort. Als er geen geschikte dag kan worden gevonden, wordt de betaling geretourneerd. We maken geen reis als de mogelijkheden onmogelijk zijn. Zo zorg je voor de beste kans om het noorderlicht te zien. We reizen met minibusjes en kleine groepen om ervoor te zorgen dat de ervaring zo goed mogelijk is. We raden aan om 's avonds een snack en warme kleding mee te nemen. We zijn gericht op het vinden van het noorderlicht en daarom richten we ons niet op het maken van kampvuren en het grillen van worsten en drankjes, omdat het meestal gewoon onmogelijk is vanwege het weer en het rijden :)
We gaan naar de dichtstbijzijnde geheime plek waar de open lucht is en de kans om het noorderlicht te zien! Als de lucht niet helder is, gaan we naar de volgende plekken!
Sommige nachten eindigen we helemaal naar de Sween kant van Lapland om de heldere lucht te krijgen en de Auroras te zien :)
We bezoeken de beste plekken tijdens de nacht en gaan terug naar Rovaniemi nadat we de beste show van de nacht hebben gezien!

- We rijden de tour met verschillende voertuigtypes op basis van het aantal deelnemers. (1 - 8 ppl : Minivan) (9 - 19 ppl : Minibus) (20 - 48 ppl : Full-size bus)

Excellent trip. Managed to get to see the northern lights. definitely worth it.
Worst experience I’ve ever had. My original booking for 26th Feb 2026 kept getting cancelled and was finally moved to 28th Feb. Since it was my first trip to Finland, I adjusted my flights to 1st March early morning just to make this aurora tour work. Before the trip, I specifically confirmed with their staff that we’d return by around 2:00–2:30 am. Instead, we got back at 4:00 am after an 8–9 hour trip (even going into Sweden), causing me to miss my flight and spend an extra £300 on a last-minute ticket. When I raised this, the manager refused to compensate me and simply refunded the tour to GetYourGuide—which I won’t even receive as it was a sponsored booking. On top of that, the “professional photos” were terrible—blurry, rushed, and not worth it. Completely unprofessional and careless. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

We would like to clarify a few important points for accuracy: First, the Northern Lights were in fact seen during your tour, meaning the experience was successfully delivered. Second, the duration of the tour is always communicated as flexible (approximately 4–10 hours) depending on weather conditions and how far we need to travel to find clear skies. On your night, conditions required a longer drive, which is part of maximizing the chances of seeing the auroras. This is also why we always strongly advise guests not to book the tour on the night before an early morning flight, as return times cannot be guaranteed. Regarding your request for additional compensation due to a missed flight — this is unfortunately not something we can take responsibility for, as flight arrangements are outside of the scope of the tour, and the duration flexibility is clearly communicated in advance. Luca was an exceptional guide and truly made this experience unforgettable. He reached out ahead of time to let us know the tour start time had shifted slightly, which I really appreciated—it set the tone for how organized and thoughtful the entire experience would be. We met downtown at the main office and headed out with a small group of eight, which felt just right. Everything was clearly well planned, and Luca created a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where everyone felt comfortable and informed throughout the tour. I did this with my 10-year-old daughter, and it turned out to be one of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences we’ll both remember for years. After some incredible viewing and photo opportunities, Luca built a fire where we warmed up with hot drinks and cookies—such a cozy and perfect ending to the evening. Absolutely worth it—100% recommend!
