Beschrijving
De Machame-route staat ook bekend als de Whiskey-route, gezien de reputatie een zware klim te zijn, in tegenstelling tot de gemakkelijkere Marangu-route, die bekend staat als de Coca Cola-route. In tegenstelling tot de geleidelijke helling en hutaccommodaties op de Marangu-route, wandelen de klimmers op Machame steilere paden, voor langere afstanden, terwijl ze in tenten slapen. De Machame Route-klim kan in minimaal zes dagen (vijf nachten) op de berg worden gedaan .

I and my lovely wife to be we had dreams several years ago to visit Tanzania and experience Mt Kilimanjaro Trekking.
