I went to a full day Sete Cidades and Lagoa do Fogo tour. Our tour guide Anna was amazing, very knowledgeable and friendly,the day was sunny and very clear sky so we saw everything from every view point. Highly recommend, the nature in this island is just breathtaking.
Excellent tour!! We had bad weather in the morning and our guide pivoted to wait it out so we could see the sights. Thankfully, the weather cleared and it the views were amazing! While we had a car, it was great to do the tour and let someone else deal with the parking and navigating. Wasn’t too crowded when we went in May but I suspect summer is crazy.
Guide Ana knows her region well, her history and she shared her passion for the beauty of the nature of Ponta Delgada and its surroundings. We loved our experience!

We did a full day tour to Furnas/Gardens with Anna and then another full day tour with Paulo guiding and Anna driving. We saw and learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Both guides are knowledgeable and personable, on time and full of stories and information about what we were seeing. Lunches were delicious and Anna and Paulo were so helpful. We 100% recommend Into the Wild Azores tours!! You won’t be disappointed.

We got lucky and were the only customers on our full day tour with Paulo. So we basically got the VIP tour. We have to say his excitement about showing us around "his island" was contagious. He showed us the 2 spots that we were interested in seeing plus he showed us some of his favorite places to visit and eat. We did the tour with the lunch included and were glad that we did. Paulo took us to one of his favorite places to eat and we were introduced to some amazing, different kinds of portugese cuisine. Paulo was very attentive to my husband and I as we are senior citizens, he made sure that we were always comfortable about everything! If you want to get a real feel for this island we suggest you book this tour with "Into The Wild Azores". You won't be disappointed!

We really enjoyed our tour! Paulo was very accommodating and made sure we had a great experience. He went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves . Paulo was very knowledgeable about the history of the island and kept us engaged the entire time. He showed us the best views of the Azores and we had lunch at a local cafe that was amazing!! I would highly recommend this tour.
We had such a great day! Our tour guide, Eduardo, was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He safely got us around the island and everyone in our tour group had a terrific time. Highly recommend.
We had a terrific time and recommend this tour highly.There is a good amount of walking, climbing and dealing with stairs, sometimes without a handrail available so being in decent shape is important. Eduardo was excellent, knowledgeable, thoughtful and an excellent driver. I think taking a four is a great choice given how congested some of the sites were, the challenges of backing out of a parking space on a curved road and how isolated some of the sites were.
We had a wonderful time exploring the west side of São Miguel Island with our guide, Filipe. He was incredibly kind, professional, and knowledgeable. Filipe shared fascinating insights about the island’s volcanic origins and geological history, making the tour both informative and engaging. His passion for the island really came through, and we truly enjoyed our time with him. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience the natural beauty of São Miguel with a great guide!
