Een gedeelde tour uitgevoerd in een kleine groep van niet meer dan 8 personen en is inclusief vervoer heen en terug vanuit uw accommodatie in Taipei City.(Het is exclusief rondleiding, het voertuigtype toegewezen voor deze tour zal worden geregeld op basis van het aantal deelnemers op de dag. Voor groepen van 4 personen of minder wordt een 5-persoons voertuig geregeld. Voor groepen van 5-8 personen wordt een 9-persoons voertuig geregeld. Specifieke voertuigtypen kunnen niet worden aangevraagd.)

Yehliu Geological Park (野柳 地質 公園) bevindt zich in een kaap van 1,7 kilometer lang en is de thuisbasis van enkele van de beroemdste geërodeerde rotsformaties ter wereld.
Golden Waterfall is gelegen nabij het Gouden Ecologische Park (黃金 博物 園區) in Jinguashi. Hoewel echt goud dat uit deze valpartijen stroomt te mooi zou zijn om waar te zijn, is het water zeker een mooie gouden kleur als gevolg van de combinatie van regelmatige regenval in dit mijngebied en de overvloed aan zware metalen elementen die in de rivierbedding worden afgezet.
Met een ongeëvenaarde sfeer in de oude stad en de flair van de zee, is Jiufen (九份) een must see spot tijdens een bezoek aan het noorden van Taiwan. Altijd vol met toeristen, zou je kunnen opmerken dat Japanse mensen een groot deel uitmaken van de verzamelde menigten. Velen willen graag een glimp opvangen van de setting van Hayao Miyazaki's Academy Award winnende "Spirited Away", vooral de iconische rode lantaarns. Dit is ook een filmmekka voor liefhebbers van de Taiwanese film, vooral fans van Hou Hsiao-hsien's "A City of Sadness" (悲情 城市), die Jiufen gebruikte als achtergrond voor de gebeurtenissen van het 228-incident. Gezien Hou's recente prijs van Beste Regisseur op het 2015 Internationale Filmfestival van Cannes voor zijn nieuwe film "The Assassin", verwachten we dat nog meer mensen hier in de komende jaren hun weg zullen vinden.
Shifen Waterfall (十分 瀑布) is de meest beroemde waterval in Taiwan.
Shifen Old Street is een bruisende hub voor diegenen die graag een glimp op willen vangen van een oud spoorwegstadje dat nog steeds de charme van weleer heeft. Oorspronkelijk gebouwd om kolen te vervoeren, is de halte Shifen Old Street nu een van de meest populaire op de Pingxi-spoorlijn. Het is gemakkelijk in te zien waarom er hier zoveel worden getrokken - lokaal eten, souvenirwinkels en puffende treinen dragen bij aan de charme van dit juweeltje en maken het een fantastische plek voor fotografie.

We bieden hotelovername in het centrum van Taipei City voor boekingen met meer dan 2 personen. Als u met 1 of 2 personen boekt, kunt u naar het Westgate Hotel of W Taipei komen om opgehaald te worden. Westgate Hotel (No. 150, Section1, Zhonghua Road, Taipei City) ligt dicht bij MRT Ximen Station, terwijl W Taipei (No. 10, Zhongxiao East Road Section 5, Xinyi District, Taipei City) ligt dicht bij het MRT-station City Hall. Geef uw ophaallocatie een dag voor 15.00 uur een dag voor uw tour door. We had a lovely day trip outside of Taipei! Our driver, Mr. You, picked us up promptly. The car was very clean and cool. He drove very well and provided clear instructions every time we arrived to a new location and even took a few photos for us! He was just lovely. The stops we went to were great! In particular loved the geo park and Jiufen. It was a really great way to explore and highly recommend to see and do something different!
We were completely satisfied with our day trip. Our driver Mr. Ma spoke excellent English and was extremely polite and prudent. A great experience, absolutely recommended!
Our tour guide Alex was great, friendly, spoke excellent English and looked after us through the day. We got to the yehliu geopark before the crowds too which was awesome so managed to get some pics of the queen's head before the hordes arrived Would love to spend more time in each of the locations but that will have to wait for our next trip, this was still a great day trip to the north of Taipei
We didn’t have a lot of time in Taipei so we looked for a tour that would give us the most bang for our buck and show us the highlights of what this wonderful city has to offer. Johnny was funny and entertaining as a tour guide. He was accommodating and thought of the little things. The only thing that I would add to this tour description is the extensive steps and walking at the Falls and at the market. Walking the staircase down or up was a bit nerve-racking, especially at points, where there was no handrails. At the Falls there was no accessibility accommodations so I might include that and future tour descriptions. Otherwise I would gladly do this tour again.
I went with my parents and sister in May 2025. The guide is wonderful and gave us lots of information of the sites. He also went above and beyond for us when it came to finding food we could eat. Even on a rainy day, this tour was a highlight during our Taiwan trip.
We had the most incredible day exploring Taiwan with our tour guide, Oliver. He took us to Jiufen, Shifen Waterfall, the Golden Waterfall, the Yehliu Geopark, and even made a special stop for us to light a lantern and make wishes—plus several other thoughtful stops along the way. His timing was *perfect*; we always arrived just before the big bus tours, which made every experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Oliver was not only knowledgeable—sharing fascinating history and stories about Taiwan—but also genuinely personable and so easy to chat with. By the end of the tour, it felt like we had made a new friend. I can’t recommend this tour enough. Skip the crowded big bus options and book this tour instead. You’ll get a much more intimate, meaningful, and memorable experience. Highly recommended!
Very nice luck. The geopark is fantastic❤️ Excellent and super nice guide and spoke good English. Also told us a little about what we saw along the way, not just about the places we visited.
Mr. Martin Yang did a wonderful job taking my party of four around. He has great sense of humor. The world is small, we met a couple who joined us on the tour. They are from CA. We had great chat.
To be clear, this is not a tour, it’s a shared taxi ride and they drop you at locations and you will navigate your self. Our driver didn’t speak good English.
We had an interesting tour. Much seen, exciting country. Our tour with 4 people, we and 2 Chinese women from Australia were carried by taxi driver James in his somewhat unclean taxi. All points on the tour were safely approached and the entrances to the spots were shown. But that was all the so-called "fluently English speaking" tour guide did. Conversation was not possible, especially as it was easier for him to talk to the Chinese women..... a pity, because we have heard from other tour guides who have led this tour english and have told a lot about the country and people. We were so sadly denied that. TOO BAD! ..but we hope that our wishes that we sent with the lantern will come true.!!.
