Beschrijving
Het Koninklijk Paleis van Caserta heeft zeker een revolutie teweeggebracht in de wereld van de architectuur, dankzij het genie van Luigi Vanvitelli die het in de 18e eeuw bouwde. De residentie werd gebouwd in opdracht van koning Karel van Bourbon als het nieuwe administratieve centrum van het koninkrijk Napels, met het paleis van Versailles als model. De rondleiding begint vanuit het Nieuwe Appartement, waarbinnen de imposante troonzaal is waar de koning delegaties en ambassadeurs ontving; ga verder in het oude appartement, bewoond door Ferdinando IV en Maria Carolina, met zijn talrijke kamers met fresco's van de hofkunstenaars. Op verzoek is het mogelijk om de tour uit te breiden met een bezoek aan het park, om de prachtige fonteinen van de Italiaanse tuin en het romantische landschap van de Engelse tuin te bewonderen.

The 24 th of October 2025, me and my husband had a wonderful experience visiting the Royal Palace of Caserta. At first, we had not a lot of informations about this castle, but our excelent guide Alessia made the visit amazing. A good english speaker, with a large historical and cultural knowledge, with enthusiasm and joy she “drived “ us in the interior of the Palace and in the magnificent Italian Garden and English Garden, creating for us wonderful memories of Caserta. She is dedicated to her job and we’d like to meet her again in an other trip. Thank you, Alessia and all the best for you !

We did, in 12 of which 5 guys, a two-hour tour of the Royal Palace of Caserta. Two o'clock now allows the visit of only the important rooms of the palace, and filling them with dates, names and numbers, would be very easy. Ilaria managed to make the tour "intriguing" and interesting for the boys, with small details of gossip and a tone always fascinating and fascinating that allowed the boys to identify with the stories without getting bored, as if they were participating in a long story in which they were immersed.
