Reis comfortabel aan boord van een bus met airconditioning en volg een gecertificeerde archeologie Gids door een van 's werelds meest opmerkelijke archeologische vindplaatsen. Ophalen in Napels. We halen klanten op verschillende punten in het stadscentrum op. De bevestiging van de ophaaltijd en locatie wordt per e-mail verzonden. De chauffeur en de tour Leider houden een banner vast met de tournaam en een lijst met deelnemers. Wij raden aan 10 minuten voor de vergadertijd aanwezig te zijn. Geniet aan boord van uw bus van een stressvrije reis. Onze voertuigen zijn uitgerust met airconditioning en gratis flessen water beschikbaar op aanvraag. Aan boord zullen onze medewerkers een korte introductie geven tot de stad Napels en het omliggende landschap tijdens de reis, voordat u uw Gids in Pompeii ontmoet.
Geniet van een begeleid bezoek aan Pompeii met een professionele Gids die op u wacht bij de ingang. Je ticket is inbegrepen, dus je kunt de rompslomp overslaan en direct beginnen met verkennen. Ontdek de fascinerende geschiedenis van deze oude Romeinse stad, bewaard gebleven door de uitbarsting van de Vesuvius, terwijl uw Gids de straten, huizen en het dagelijks leven weer tot leven brengt. The pickup was a bit chaotic as our guide was not at the specified meeting point at the agreed time. There were other representatives from Worldtours who enquired which guide group we were allocated to and she advised Italo would arrive shortly. Upon arrival we found him to be a very friendly guy. Tomas, our archaeological guide was excellent. He brought Pompei to life with his vast knowledge and humour. Be warned, there is a lot of walking on uneven ground so comfortable footwear is advised. It was very hot and not much shade so bring plenty of water. On the return coach journey, I asked Italo if water was available (the info provided said it was available on request) but there wasn’t any. We were relieved to be in an air conditioned coach. Overall a great day!
Tomaso was a great knowledgeable guide, added humour, was considerate of us being in the heat. Would have loved more free time to wander inside the museum to see and understand some of the found artefacts.

Half day tour booked with world tours on an extremely hot day. Our Pompeii guide Tomas was very good and gave us a whistle-stop tour of the important bits. Makes us want to visit again when we have more time.Tomas never stopped talking and gave lots of interesting information the whole way through.

Funny and gives great explanation on how Pompeii once was how the people were what their jobs, status, etc. I also liked how he puts his little jokes at the right moments and lights up the mood. I had a lot of fun with him and learned a lot about Pompeii and will save this momment for my life.
