De moskee van Córdoba was de grootste ter wereld toen alle uitbreidingen in de tiende eeuw waren voltooid. Meer dan 20.000 mensen konden erin passen en het werd in 1984 tot werelderfgoed uitgeroepen. We were staying in Seville, and we took a tour with Civitatis for the day. They picked us up in a bus at the hotel, the drive was nice, and we passed through a white town called Carmona. Then we arrived in Cordoba, we stopped for a while to have lunch on a nice terrace and then we visited the Mosque with a guided tour. Impressive. We arrived at the hotel very happy and the tour was very practical and complete.

Passionate and exciting guide to illuminate the history of this incredible place. Large crowds on Saturday, a day to avoid if possible. Overall sound system efficient, but what about the first price headphones afterwards?

He was absolutely harm. We had people fly in specifically to go to Cordoba and do this to her when we waited and waited, waited, and the guide never showed up. He called and called and called and they didn’t answer the phone.

the guide never showed up and did not answer any phone calls from us or get your guide . Myself and 5 friends were left standing at the gate waiting for a guide from this company who stiffed us out of money and wasted our time.

I fear that without the guidance of our excellent tour guide Jaime, my husband and I would not have been able to fully appreciate this incredible place. Jaime was knowledgeable, good-humored, and approachable. Well worth the price! I returned the next morning during the free admission hour (8:30-9:30) and with the information I had received from Jaime, I was able to dive even deeper into the space and its story.
What a wonderful experience. Our tour guide was so informative and funny. My 12 year old son. Said , this was his favorite tour.

We were on a guided tour of the mosque. It was very very crowded in October and unfortunately took away the ambience of the place. I couldn’t hear what the guide was saying at all so it was completely useless to have to wait in a group. Should have just looked at it ourselves
This is a must-do experience to appreciate Spanish history and be amazed at the sight of a full sized Christian cathedral inside a mosque, many times extended over the centuries. It is being wonderfully restored (2025) so more to see over time. A guided tour is strongly recommended.
