Begeleide tour naar het meest opvallende monument van Cordoba, de moskee-kathedraal. Het is uitgeroepen tot Werelderfgoed door de UNESCO. De begeleide tour uitgevoerd door deskundige historici, leidt u door een levende tempel die getuige is geweest van tal van historische gebeurtenissen. Het zal je niet onverschillig laten. We zullen de verschillende stadia van de bouw uitleggen, te beginnen met de overblijfselen van de oude Visigotische basiliek van San Vicente die nog steeds bewaard zijn. We volgen de rondleiding naar de oude moskee die werd gebouwd door Emir Abderraman I en de volgende uitbreidingen tot de Almanzor-periode. Na de verovering van de stad door het christelijke leger werd de moskee Kathedraal en bezette verschillende pakhuizen vanwege de uitbreiding van de kalief Al-Hakam II voor liturgische vieringen. Later werd het bestaande transept van de kathedraal gebouwd.

On June 2, 2026, I purchased two tickets for €60. On the 4th, I requested the cancellation. According to the published terms, I expected a partial refund. After several attempts to contact, I have not received a response.
An incredible experience, how the brutal Christian overpowerer has respectfully inserted himself into Moorish architecture and thus produced a harmonious if bizarre combination. The meeting place is partly because of the huge crowds, harder to find than thought.
Rebecca was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the history of this incredibly unique building and did it with respect for all the historic contributors to the Mezquita. She also had a great sense of humour. I highly recommend this tour

We loved visiting the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba with a guided tour in English. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered the many questions asked. He informed us the Mosque-Cathedral was open every morning from 8.30am for an hour if we wanted to go in again and view the building at a slower pace. He also informed us that a mass is held every day in the cathedral should people wish to attend. Thank you to our guide.

Excellent tour of the mosque...in depth knowledge of history
Do not use this service. Communication was extremely poor. The provider instructed me to go to a specific meeting point and said they would meet me there. However, when I arrived, no one showed up. I sent a text message and received no response. After waiting, I sent another message letting them know I was still there, but they never replied and completely left me hanging. As a result, I missed the activity and had to purchase new tickets and pay again out of pocket. I am now having to dispute the charge with my credit card company to obtain a refund. This experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and a complete waste of time and money.
