Ronde van Saranda

We zullen een rondreis maken en Saranda verkennen, een stad met meer dan 2000 jaar geschiedenis (ook bekend als Onhezmi). Saranda ligt aan de zuidkust van Albanië, rijk aan zeldzame waarden van het Albanese en Europese culturele en archeologische erfgoed. We zullen The Incoming Gate of Onhezmi (een monument) verkennen; een archeologisch museum; Het museum van erfgoed; een kunstgallerij; De orthodoxe kerk; Het kasteel van Lekuresi en het V-VI-synagogecomplex (binnen het kasteel).

Tijdens deze tour rijden we naar (en verkennen) het fort van Lekuresi, vermoedelijk gebouwd in 1537, toen Sultan Sulejmani Corfu aanviel. Het kasteel ligt in de ruïnes van het dorp Lekuresi, op de top van de heuvel, boven de stad Saranda. Het is echt een strategische positie waar je de hele baai van Saranda kunt zien, de weg die naar Butrint en de eilanden van Ksamil leidt. Daarnaast kunt u ook het eiland Corfu zien. We bezoeken ook het V-VI Synagogue Complex, gelegen in het kasteel aan de oostelijke kant - dat in de laatste fase het Joodse cultcomplex werd getransformeerd in een christelijk cultusgebouw: de Paleochristische Basiliek.
We zullen het Monument bezoeken: The Incoming Gate of Onhezmi; de Albanese numismatische tentoonstelling; het Archeologisch Museum; Het museum van erfgoed, de kunstgalerij en de orthodoxe kerk

Living the sea 100% staying on the seafront is possible in Saranda, having a very large and equipped public beach with a wonderful sea and many bars and restaurants on hand. Wide choice of motor boat trips to nearby beautiful Ksamil or other beaches and notable points of interest along the southern Albanian coast. Lacking the nightlife seen the flourishing of countless commercial premises with a very young target, even teen!

An excellent and informative walking tour of Sarande with guide Erald, who translated the curators talks at the museums to ensure we understood the history of the city and the country of Albania too. Culminated in a car ride to the castle which over looked the town with spectacular views across the plains and the bay. Half a day we’ll spent!

Saranda is a destination that can not miss on the list of the Balkans and if by chance you happen to happen in these parts and I wish you so... refer to Teatours I think best agency on site.... we were picked up at the airport in Tirana..... The guide was called Gazi that we thank infinitely sincerely because he advised us to lengthen the road to saranda to look at the coast is the panorama that this nation has to offer!!!!! Goose bumps!
