Robbeneiland boottocht en museumtour is een van de meest populaire toeristische attracties in Zuid-Afrika en zal waarschijnlijk van tevoren uitverkocht zijn. Beveilig uw tickets voor een gedeelde boottocht en museumtour en sla de wachtrij over door deze tour te boeken en retourtransfers tussen uw hotel en de Nelson Mandela Gateway naar Robbeneiland te ontvangen.

Je wordt tussen 9.30 en 10.30 uur opgehaald bij je accommodatie in Kaapstad. Je ontvangt een gedeelde transfer van je hotel in Kaapstad naar het Silo-district, waar je wordt begeleid naar de Nelson Mandela Gateway naar Robbeneiland Jetty. Hier chartert u een gedeelde boot naar het Robbeneilandmuseum, waar u wordt opgewacht door een plaatselijke gids die de rondleiding over het eiland zal leiden. (Houd er rekening mee dat onze gids/chauffeur u niet vergezelt tijdens de rondleiding door het Robbeneilandmuseum.) De hele tour duurt 4 uur, inclusief het ophalen van het hotel, de boottocht van 30 minuten om te gaan, de boottocht van 30 minuten om terug te keren en het inleveren van het hotel. Een deel van de tour wordt u per bus rond het eiland vervoerd, voordat u de gevangeniscel van Nelson Mandela bezoekt en aan het einde van de tour The Long Walk to Freedom neemt. Bij onze aankomst terug bij de steiger, zal onze gids/chauffeur u ontmoeten bij de ingang van de Nelson Mandela Gateway naar Robbeneiland voor uw retourtransfer terug naar uw hotel.

Booked Robben Island tickets and later discovered the price was more than double the official ticket price when buying directly from Robben Island. This significant markup was not clearly disclosed at the time of booking, and I only realized it after the tour. Talking directly with Beyond Africa Safaris I pointed out that they pray on tourist by adding 110% on the original price. A practice which does not promote long term customer satisfaction. The argument went to deaf ears. While the tour itself was ok it was NOT run through Beyond Africa Safaris but through the standard museum guides meaning that the company only resells tickets at double the price. The price transparency was disappointing and materially affected my experience. I recommend checking the official provider’s website before booking to avoid paying substantially more for the same activity.

Our driver was Zaine, and he was really nice, and he had a good laugh with my children on the way there and back. The drive was comfortable, and the tour was excellent. It is such an important part of history and is also a World Heritage site. Our guide was a political prisoner at Robben Island who had met Nelson Mandela in real life, which gave the tour incredible real-life insight. We really enjoyed our day and would recommend this tour.

On the voucher they didn’t specify the pick up time so I had to initiate conversation previous day of the tour. The tour starting time on the voucher as 10 but they changed it to 9 without asking me. After the tour they were late for pick up. Entire operation was unprofessional and unworthy of the price tag.

Our driver Jean picked us up a few minutes early, which was great as we got out early to wait for him. He was very attentive to our needs and walked us to the place to board the boat to Robben Island. Our tour ran late by over an hour but Jean was there waiting patiently for us. We were very pleased with the whole experience!

a good trip of a total of 3 hours. starts from Water Front and ends there again. We were driven around parts of the island by bus, where a guide tells stories, to then end at the "head prison" where Mandela b.la. sat. This is the former prisoner who tells about life there. a visit.
Your- We were picked up at our Airbrnb. The driver made sure we knew where to go & he was there to pick us up even before we got back. Actual trip - This was a very emotional trip & 💯 recommend it. Learnt so much history about SA. The guide was Amazing!!

Barnabus Marshal was fabulous for this! He was a lot of fun and would highly recommend him. He has lots of energy, kept us laughing and engaged! He was so fun! I would recommend this tour! His back office told me the time of 9:30 and then told him 8 so we were late meeting him. He was great about it and waited for us.
