Vergaderlocatie/Vervoersinformatie & Vergadertijd: Er zijn twee Cruise Centers in Roatan. De routebeschrijving voor beide locaties vindt u hieronder. Vertrek een uur na aankomst van uw schip naar de haven en ga naar de hieronder vermelde ontmoetingsruimte om in te checken bij uw vertegenwoordiger. MAHOGANY BAY CRUISE TERMINAL & ISLE TROPICALE HAVEN : Verlaat het schip en loop het hoofdpad op naar het winkel gebied. Ga verder langs de fonteinen, door het winkelen, naar het gebouw met een rood dak aan de rechterkant. Ga dat gebouw binnen en loop naar het einde waar de witte taxi staat. Sla linksaf en loop de heuvel op. U ziet een GROTE GROENE VEILIGHEIDSpoort. Ga door de poort en de heuvel af. Uw Detour Roatan Gids zal aan de rechterkant staan met een Detour Roatan bord en uw naam & informatie. De Gids checkt je in en brengt je naar je shuttle. Jouw Roatan avontuur staat op het punt te beginnen! Geniet van je dag! STADSCENTRUM/HAVEN VAN ROATAN & COXEN HOLE CRUISE TERMINAL : Verlaat het schip en loop naar het belangrijkste winkelen. Kijk voor de EXCURSIE KIOSK NUMMER 2 waar tours & excursies worden verkocht. Dit is de South Shore Adventures en Detour Roatan tourkiosk. The course was great! The 11th hole was my favorite! It is a par 3 with the green surrounded by water. Transportation was quick and very friendly. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is because the rented clubs were terrible! The grip on the putter was literally just threads and the irons had steel and graphite shafts. It looked like the clubs were put together of clubs left behind by other golfers... My friends bag had a driver and two three woods. All of them were different brands.
This Golf Course is an awesome track. The day we were there the course was extremely wet but that did not distract from the beauty and enjoyment of the course. It was cart path only and if you are not near the cart path you can plan to walk a lot!! Our tour guide, Jerry was awesome and gave us a brief tour from the ship to the course and even stopped on the way back to allow us to buy some local Honduran cigars and we had lunch with him at a very local small restaurant. He was very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely do this again when in Roatan.
The communication was great.. pick up and drop off was super Easy and the course is amazing!! Highly recommend to golfers!
1. You have to walk all the way out of the terminal and this will include up stairs and down steep hills on likely a wet road. 2. You will then look through about a 100 people holding signs for one holding a sign with your name. 3. 10 min drive to the course. All this was basically what I expected, not the best experience but everyone was nice and helpful. 4. Golf course…it is beautiful but, if you are thinking should I bring my clubs? Yes, if you are a scratch to 15 handicap bring your clubs. The greens were hard as a rock but rolled a little slower than you would think. There are multiple par 3s over 200 yards from the tips and they don’t give you a full set of irons. The carts do not have GPS but I used The Grint (app) and it worked great. The reasons I didn’t give 5 stars…1. The Pro was at the counter and didn’t speak to me at all or ask if I needed anything. I’ve been in the business for a long time and a Pro should take the time with every customer when it’s not busy. 2. The clubs were Callaway edge 10.5 degree drive, 3 wood 5 hybrid and 6-to sand wedge and an Odyssey putter. Not bad for an average golfer but I am a 4 handicap and hit a 9 degree driver and use my 4&5 irons often. Honestly it wasn’t the clubs as much as, they were not cleaned at all and they didn’t provide you anything to keep them clean through the round. Not even a small towel. The guy that greeted me told me not to buy balls inside the shop and to buy them from him. Not a good business plan for a golf course but I did bring a few balls so I was ok. This course is beautiful and unique but the bunkers are interesting. Every green gives you space but the ball will roll off every edge so stick to the middle. If I was to do this again I bring my own bag and equipment.
Half of the golf course was closed down. The other half they had just aerated the greens. They were all sand. Completely unplayable. I only played 9 holes. I would like a refund.
You received a partial refund for the 9 holes not playable since they had emergency maintenance issues that day.
This is the third time we have used this service, and it is perfect. We come on a cruise ship and always coordinate our arrival and departure times. Greate drivers and golf. Love this service.
Hope to see you again in the very near future. We added some new options on Viator with golf at the Black Pearl. The course has a new superintendent that is doing a wonderful job.
