Loop langs de smalle straatjes van de middeleeuwse oude stad met onze deskundige gidsen. De tour start vanaf het Stadhuisplein - het centrale plein van de stad van de 13e tot de 19e eeuw. U zult ontdekken waarom Riga de hoofdstad van de versierde kerstboom wordt genoemd, waar de sleutel van Riga wordt bewaard en nog veel meer.

Mijn naam is Riga. Ik ben meer dan acht eeuwen geleden geboren aan de rivier de Daugava en sindsdien ben ik veel mooier en aantrekkelijker geworden. Mijn vader was bisschop Albert van Lijfland en ik was er blij mee, maar toen kwamen er veel buitenlanders die mijn hart wilden veroveren. Het is me echter gelukt om sterk en trots te blijven. Luister nog eens naar mijn naam – Ri-ga. Het klinkt als muziek, als een belofte, als een geheim. Kom het ontdekken!

Out guide was absolutely phenomenal!! Was so interesting. I was utterly captivated by everything she said. By far the best guided walking tour I have ever done in my life!!! Told some personal stories too and you could tell everyone in our group was spellbound…. Only negative was actually trying to find exactly where we were to meet our guide in the town hall square. We nearly gave up as couldn’t see any umbrella or canapé……
A little difficult finding the meeting point. The yellow umbrella was not opened. Very informative guide that walked at a comfortable pace
We took a 2 hour private walking tour of Riga with a knowledgeable guide. It was at a pace that was easy and the guide was very open to our many questions. The walking tour helped us identity places that we wanted to go back and explore in detail (eg; the Riga Cathedral). Totally worth the reasonable per head cost
