Aankomst op St. Pancras International Station, waar een vertegenwoordiger u om 6.00 uur (5.30 uur op zaterdag) zal ontmoeten in de chop’d coffeeshop, tegenover de Eurostar-halte. U ontvangt een informatief welkomstpakket en een gratis plattegrond van Parijs. Houd er rekening mee dat u ten minste 10 minuten voor de aangegeven tijd op het ontmoetingspunt moet zijn. Begin uw dagtrip naar Parijs in stijl met een ritje in de wereldberoemde Eurostar ™. De reis van 2 uur en 15 minuten naar Parijs gaat door 50 mijl van de Kanaaltunnel - voordat u van boord gaat bij station Gare due Nord, Parijs!
Wanneer u aankomt op station Gare du Nord, begeeft u zich naar de bushalte Open Top (halte 11 op de blauwe route), buiten het station op 18 Rue de Dunkerque, 75010 Parijs, Frankrijk (tegenover het station: Gare du Nord Main Ingang). Een volledige bustour op de rode route duurt ongeveer. 2 uur en 20 minuten, en een volledige tocht op de blauwe route duurt 1 uur en 15 minuten (afhankelijk van de verkeersomstandigheden). Bussen rijden elke 10 tot 15 minuten. Bushaltes zijn gunstig gelegen nabij populaire bezienswaardigheden en attracties, zodat u kunt in- en uitstappen wanneer u maar wilt. Bewonder vervolgens Parijse juweeltjes, waaronder de Champs-Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, Place de la Concorde, de Eiffeltoren en nog veel meer.

Bekijk 's werelds grootste kunstmuseum met meer dan 380.000 objecten en indrukwekkende kunstwerken, van sculpturen, schilderijen, tekeningen tot archeologische vondsten. Maak een foto voor de glazen piramide, loop over de binnenplaats van Khorsabad, ga naast Venus da Milo staan en bewonder Mona Lisa. Openingstijden: van 9.00 uur tot 18.00 uur. Het museum is op dinsdag gesloten wegens onderhoud.
De Notre-Dame de Paris, voltooid in de 13e eeuw en beschouwd als een belangrijk bewijs van de Franse gotische architectuur, is een symbool van het katholicisme en de Franse identiteit. De populariteit van de kathedraal nam aanzienlijk toe na de publicatie in 1831 van Victor Hugo's roman Notre-Dame de Paris (in het Engels beter bekend als The Hunchback of Notre-Dame). De kathedraal is momenteel in wederopbouw, na de brand van 15 april 2019 die het dak en de torenspits verwoestte, maar de structuur intact liet.
Musee d'Orsay wordt beschouwd als een van 's werelds rijkste en meest opwindende musea en herbergt belangrijke stukken Franse kunst die dateren van 1848 tot 1914, waaronder schilderijen, sculpturen, meubels en fotografie. Musée d'Orsay, internationaal bekend om zijn rijke collectie impressionistische kunst, herbergt meesterwerken van enkele van 's werelds beroemde schilders, waaronder Monet, Manet, Degas, Renoir, Cézanne, Seurat, Sisley, Gauguin en Van Gogh.
De Avenue des Champs-Élysées bevindt zich in het 8e arrondissement van Parijs, Frankrijk en staat bekend als een van de meest glamoureuze winkelstraten van heel Parijs (en waarschijnlijk ook van de wereld). Met een lengte van ongeveer 2 kilometer loopt deze beroemde laan van Place de la Concorde naar de majestueuze Arc de Triomphe. Een van 's werelds bekendste herdenkingsmonumenten! De bouw van de Arc de Triomphe dateert uit de 18e eeuw en begon in 1806 in de tijd van Napoleon, met als doel het Franse leger te eren. De Arc de Triomphe is 49,5 m (162 ft) hoog, 45 m (150 ft) breed en 22 m (72 ft) diep. Als je naar de top van de Arc de Triomphe klimt, heb je een fantastisch uitzicht op de Champs-Elysées en de rest van Parijs.
De Seine is een rivier in Frankrijk die door het hart van de hoofdstad Parijs stroomt en grenst aan 10 van de 20 arrondissementen. De rivier wordt dagelijks gebruikt voor waterverbruik, scheepvaart en toerisme. Alleen in Parijs zijn er 37 bruggen over de Seine, met als bekendste Pont Alexandre III en Pont Neuf.
Gelegen in Montmarte, Parijs, De Basiliek van het Heilig Hart, beter bekend als de Sacré-Cœur Basiliek, is een rooms-katholieke kerk en een van de meest iconische monumenten in Parijs. Gebouwd in een Romeins-Byzantijnse stijl, imponeert de Sacré Coeur met zijn witte kleur en zijn architectonische stijl. Sacré-Coeur is dagelijks geopend van 6.00 uur tot 22.30 uur en de toegang is gratis.
Terugreis. Na een spannende dag Parijs te hebben ontdekt, keert u ten minste 45 minuten voor vertrek terug naar Gare du Nord, 1e verdieping, bij de incheckbalie van de Eurostar. Standaard Premier-treinkaartjes (optioneel) zijn inclusief een lichte maaltijd en drankjes die aan uw stoel worden geserveerd.

The Guinness Travel escort completely upsets the travel schedule without asking us and forcing us to do a real tour de force. In one day we did almost 13 km ON FOOT, we did not use even a minute of free time to buy some souvenirs, made us go back to the metro in the hotel, and during a lunch, the only one in which we had been able to sit, she allowed herself to cancel the order of a dessert at the end of the meal, without asking us, because we had to hurry (I specify that this experience some people in the group have deemed to consent and not protest) in short, what was supposed to be a holiday turned into a real massacre. At the protests the girl, certain Barbara, replied that we should cheer because she was showing us what she should not, but who had asked her??? BAD EXPERIENCE

Wow! Had a wonderful trip with Lomond Travel up NC500 to Thurso, Orkney and Durness. Our driver Louise was a star, with lots of banter and perfectly reversed bus on to ferry at St Margaret’s Hope. Hopefully meet her again on another trip. Station Hotel in Thurso was excellent, great choice at breakfast and dinner in the evening had something to suit everyone’s taste. Beds were comfy, shower fantastic and tea and coffee available. Had lots of photo opportunities. First time up this way, the views and the beaches were stunning. Everything went so smoothly, from booking, pick and trip. If you want a stress free trip then this is the answer.

"Paris is never a bad choice", the line from the movie Sabrinia, is true. Friendly people, good food, and the list goes on. The river cruise is a nice way to unwind and see Paris from a different angle. People on the shore wave at you as you peacefully enjoy the journey.

It was absolutely spectacular—very well organized, always on time, and if you’re an independent traveler, this is the best experience you could ask for. Truly amazing from start to finish.
The cruise on the Seine is the best! The city itself and its monuments is stunning. Climbing the Eiffel Tower can't be avoided. The Louvre very large and many people... you end up bursting and you leave a lot unseen, it takes a whole day... The rest: for taste. Do not forget photos in Trocadero and walk along the Champs-Elysees. Very good food everywhere we went
Beware trip cancellation insurance that you pay for on your credit card. My card uses allianz insurance and they have been erible to deal with. I had to cancel a trip because of illness. My own health insurance paid most but there was some left over that i claimed to Allianz. They seemed to have misunderstood my claim and They told told me they had noting to do with my own insurance company which was not relevant. They closed the claim and although i emailed them and told a representative online about the error they never dealt with the problem. so be careful about the insurance company that your credit card uses.

We are very please with our recent golf cum leisure trip to Pattaya handle by Andy Cheng of Cuegolf. We play two rounds of golf 1) At Chee Chan Golf Resort 2) Siam Country Club The Old Course We were assigned with an excellent driver cum golf coordinator Est, he drives safely and always punctual, he is like our tour guide on our non golfing days, makes our trip so much enjoyable. train was excellent but info provided was confusing. Once we received our tickets and found our contact for our departure all was good until we landed in Paris. Directions provided to meet up with the hop on/off bus was confusing and impossible to follow (including directions to walk to a specific intersection 30 min away) We found help from a local Parisian and used metro to find closest bus stop
My daughters and I had a wonderful day exploring Paris! It was an early start on the train but easy to find and board. The instructions for bringing a passport were very clear and easy to follow. Upon arrival, we walked to meet the TOOT bus. I followed the instructions provided and found the TOOT bus easily. Luckily I had cell service (I used google maps). The TOOT bus route had been amended for the upcoming Olympics and went to all the main tourist spots which we enjoyed! We got off to see the Louvre and Eiffel Tower. I hadn't bought entry into the Louvre prior but I was able to get entry later in the day on the website. The Eiffel tower was adorned with the olympics logo which was very cool to see! We enjoyed a delicious lunch near the base of the tower and then went back to the Louvre to see the Mona Lisa and amazing art inside! Wish we had longer to spend in the museum. Overall a very fun and interesting day. One bad note: DO NOT take the pedi-cabs unless you ask about the rate first. We took one back to the train due to the timing at the end of the day. The driver approached us and asked if we needed a taxi. I asked if he took a card, and he said yes so we 3 (adults) piled into the back of the pedi-cab. It took us 15 minutes to get to the Gare. He then said it would be $150 Euros and pointed to an ATM. He was a rather large man and I felt uncomfortable confronting him so I just go the money and paid him. I realize that we were definitely scammed and I hope no other foreigners fall for this. In hindsight I wish I had been more forceful in demanding a reasonable price but I guess that's a lesson learned for me. To end on a positive note, I would like to thank Maria Cioplea for all her help in making sure I had what I wanted for this tour. There were some errors in the advertisement that made me think we could upgrade to a higher train class, and that we were getting the metro and bus tickets. I was disappointed at first when we learned we could not upgrade and I was issued only the metro ticket. Maria was very patient and helpful in making sure we were able to get the bus tickets since that was my desire from the beginning. Unfortunately we did not have time for the river cruise- but overall a great day and memories we will not forget!
