The "tour" wasn't a real tour. We didn't get to see anything historic or monumental. Our tour guide arrived 45 minutes late. He took us to his family home and picked various fruits for us to try, which was the best part. The beach wasn't anything spectacular. We had a similar experience at our resort. The food was tasty; however, while steak and lobster were advertised, they were not provided. The only meat option was chicken. We didn't stay the entire time and left right after lunch. It was a disappointing experience.
We did 5 excursions while here, and this is the only one that was an absolute flop! Disaster more like. BUYER BEWARE! First, pickup was supposed to be at 9am, and was over 30 mins late. So she shows up and takes us to the beach. When we got there we expected what was promised, kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, painting and jewelry making. What we showed up to was a dingy bar with a couple tables set up. It seemed like we were the only two people on the beach and absolutely nothing was set up. There were no paddleboards,kayaks and the snorkeling lady, Jackie, wasn’t even there by 11:30. There was no crafts and really nowhere comfortable to sit. We had to leave early because there was absolutely nothing to do. The beach also not what was pictured in the photos. They tried to use excuses that it was the “slow season” and that they would be there “real soon”. Absolutely horrible excursion. Do not waste your money. Definitely false advertising, the experience was nothing like in the photos, there were no umbrella chairs. There were no tubes and there were no picnic tables. Skip this one!

Our experiences are carefully scheduled to accommodate multiple guests arriving from different locations, and we strive to ensure that every guest enjoys a seamless and engaging tour. Regarding the pick-up, our driver arrived at the designated meeting point at 9:00 AM as scheduled. When we were informed by the hotel receptionist about your location, we promptly adjusted to ensure a smooth pickup, even though it differed from the planned meeting point. Since our tours operate on a structured schedule with specific activity start times, and given that other guests were also scheduled to join, your early departure made it difficult for us to offer a refund. We did communicate this policy at the time, and we sincerely regret any frustration this may have caused. We truly believe that had you stayed, you would have had the opportunity to fully enjoy the activities that many of our guests have found to be memorable and rewarding. Although you spent some time relaxing under an umbrella, the full tour experience would have allowed you to immerse yourself in the adventure we had planned. Once again, we deeply regret that your experience did not go as expected. We hope that you might consider joining us again in the future, and we would be happy to assist in making your next visit as enjoyable as possible. Lovely staff, friendly and worked to entertain and make us feel welcome. A day trip from a cruise , we had an amazing beach spot- quiet, perfect water, gorgeous. Lunch was filling (buffet style).
Came from cruise ship. Meeting place good. We were put off when they said we were going in a car instead of a van with others. A little scary. Got to beach. It was all seaweed and trash around. Chairs and umbrellas had to be set up. Although the water was beautiful, could not go for a swim as waves were so strong, I got knocked down. Changing rooms and bathroom terrible. Lunch and drink were very good. Included with our tour, was a paint session, which was very good I enjoyed, however the instructor showed up 1/2 hour before we had to leave so we never finished thr painting.
We did this tour, driver was great, food was great, staff at beach was wonderful. The beach was lovely and quiet, safe. Bring cash!
Kev was a great driver. We did not do the sip and paint or jewelry making. So was disappointed with that. Basically paid for a drive to the beach and a meal at the beach.
