Deze tour geeft je de opwindende ervaring van het beklimmen van een berg van meer dan 16.000 voet, waar je kleurrijke landschappen, majestueuze gletsjers, verbazingwekkende en levendige groene valleien met kuddes alpaca's en het indrukwekkende Ausangate-gebergte kunt zien. Ook ervaar je uit de eerste hand hoe de lokale bevolking in de bergen leeft en zie je ze zelfs hard aan het werk.

Ons avontuur begint heel vroeg om 04.30 uur met onze gids die ons ophaalt bij het hotel en ons vervolgens ongeveer 1 uur en 30 minuten van Cusco naar Cusipata brengt, waar een heerlijk ontbijt op ons wacht. Na het ontbijt worden we ongeveer 1 uur vervoerd naar het basiskamp van de Coloured Mountain genaamd Phulawasipata (4600 meter boven zeeniveau). Op deze plek zal onze gids ons enkele aanbevelingen geven voordat we aan de wandeling beginnen. Na 2 uur wandelen komen we aan bij de majestueuze Rainbow Mountain (5000 meter boven zeeniveau), waar we een pauze van ongeveer 15 minuten zullen nemen terwijl onze gids ons uitleg geeft over de plaats en daarna ongeveer 30 minuten vrije tijd hebben om maak foto's en geniet van de plek. Na een bezoek aan Rainbow Mountain dalen we 1 uur en 30 minuten af tot we de parkeerplaats bereiken waar ons transport op ons wacht om terug te keren naar Cusipata waar een heerlijke lunch op ons wacht. Na de lunch keren we terug naar Cusco voor 2 uur en arriveren we rond 16:00 uur.

The service was very good with good communication and punctual arrivals. A guide who knows a lot and gives you freedom without neglecting you during the tour. Comfortable transport. The red mountain and valley are beautiful places.

We had a great time on this trip, very reasonably priced for the private tour. Carlos was our guide and Elvis was our driver, both excellent, fun and knowledgeable. Carlos adapts well to whom he is guiding so will make sure you have a great time. We booked with Daniela and she was excellent as well! Highly recommended

We booked a private tour from Cusco to the Palccoyo Rainbow mountains and enjoyed it tremendously. The Driver & Tour guide picked us up at our Cusco hotel on time and explained every step of the tour. We would definitely pick them for a private tour again if we are back in Cusco!

This is a really wonderful tour. The scenic views of the Rainbow mountain trail are great, colorful mountains on one side, white glaciers on the other side. Before the tour, my wife and I were kind of concerned about whether our septuagenarian age could take the challenge of hiking at such high altitude, but we made it to the 5036 meter top with the help of horse ride on the front part of the trail, which saved our energy to take on the last 100 meter height, but steep hiking. Our guide, Joel, was excellent in taking care of us and helping take great pictures, the office manager, Daniela, very responsive before the trip, the hotel pick-up on time. Everything was arranged as advertised. We enjoyed it very much. It’s highly recommended.
We did a tour only for two, visiting the Palcoyo Mountains, the Inca Bridge and a picnic. The agency was fantastic, even adapted to our needs. Our guide, Kat, was incredibly friendly, cheerful and helpful. Our driver, Marco, was also excellent. Everything was wonderful!
