We bezoeken een prachtige Rainbow berg met Atvs deze optie is de beste voor degenen die niet meer willen wandelen, kan worden bereikt met slechts 45 minuten lopen en hebben een spectaculair uitzicht op de bergen. Onze tour begint met het ophalen bij Cusco hotels in het historische centrum, tussen 03:00 en 03:30 uur.
We rijden nog 1 uur en 45 minuten door naar onze volgende bestemming, Cusipata, waar het ontbijt bij de tour is inbegrepen. Vegetarische optie beschikbaar.
We lopen 30 tot 50 minuten van de quadparkeerplaats naar de berg, en dan evenveel tijd terug naar de quads.
Onze quadtocht begint in de Japurá gemeenschap, waar onze Expert Gids je alle nodige instructies zal geven. Vanaf dit punt zijn de landschappen uniek, omgeven door prachtige bergen en besneeuwde toppen, en heb je de kans om lama's en alpaca's in hun natuurlijke habitat te zien, verzorgd door de lokale bevolking. Na meer dan 1 uur met onze quads te hebben gereden, bereiken we eindelijk de Berg van 7 Kleuren, waar we dit geweldige werk van de natuur kunnen bewonderen, genieten van zijn majesteit en de beste foto's kunnen maken. Onze Gids zal uitleggen wat Rainbow Mountain precies is, en na een bezoek aan deze geweldige plek, keren we terug naar het startpunt, nemen de minivan terug, lunchen en keren dan terug naar de stad Cusco.
We krijgen de gelegenheid om deze berg, die als de hoogste berg in het gebied wordt beschouwd, op een hoogte van meer dan 6.300 meter te zien.
Aankomsttijd in Cusco : ongeveer 17:30 uur op Plaza Regocijo.

Amazing experience. Our guide, Grimaldo, was friendly, patient and informative. The views were out of this world.
Edgar and his crew did a fantastic job. The ATV ride was very enjoyable. We had a sunny day making the views of the mountain amazing. The morning buffet was just okay and the hall was cold do to the early time. The lunch was excellent. The weather was sunny and hot. It’s a long day. 2 hours or less each leg.
The rainbow mountain tour was not what we expected. Ysmael and was our tour guide, he was very friendly which we appreciated however his partners were not. Ysmael also asked us to pay an additional $90 to do the hike which was supposed to be included. There was supposed to be oxygen included to help with the elevation and there was none. It rained the entire tour and it was very cold, the driver and the other tour guide continued to roll down their windows which was very inconsiderate being that we were all wet and cold. We took the ATV’s to a certain point then started the hike. The views up to the hiking point were amazing. Once the hike began I was unable to complete it due to the elevation however the other participants that were able to complained that once they reached the top of rainbow mountain, which is an hour + hike all they were able to see was snow and the red clay. I do not recommend this tour.
The atv i was given to ride barely ran. It shuddered all the way and could not keep up with the group. The guide stated there was noting he could do. He offered his atv but stated there was no back breaks.
ATVs were very fun, guides were awesome, amazing views after the hike to the top. Altitude is no joke, don’t stay at the top too long, but would absolutely recommend. Incredible experience.

The tour is fun and the rainbow mountains are worth the hype, but I do have a few comments for one the entrance fee listed on the trip is wrong we were told night before 25 soles and then required to pay 45 for entrance not sure why the adjustment or if we got ripped off. The restaurant is okay at best and be careful what you eat it’s a buffet and if you show up last like us things will have been sitting out for a long time. Also bring plenty of water there won’t be a chance to fill up only buy overpriced bottles. None of that is controlled by the tour operator but I feel it’s important to let people know.
It is a great experience. Our guide was helpful. The ATV's are easy to ride and the views whilst riding are amazing. The tour takes you to the foot of Rainbow Mountain lookout. You will still need to hike to the top to get a view. Instead of hiking you can pay for a short motorcycle or horse ride to the top.
