Wereldwijd award winnende Altitude Tours presenteert de Twilight Wine & Craft Beer Tour — een middag waar de keuze aan jou is. Deze levendige ervaring is ontworpen voor jong-in-hart en iedereen die nieuwsgierig is naar lokale wijnbereiding en brouwen. De ervaring bezoekt drie kelderdeur- en brouwerijlocaties in Gibbston en Arthurs Point. Kies bij elke halte tussen wijn- of speciaalbierproeverijen, waardoor het perfect is voor koppels, vrienden of individuele reizigers met verschillende smaken. U wordt ontvangen door gepassioneerd kelderdeurpersoneel en uw deskundige lokale Gids. De tour eindigt met gedeelde antipastoschotels bij de laatste stop voordat je rond 19:00 uur terugkeert naar Queenstown — net op tijd voor dinerplannen of wat meer drankjes in de stad Queenstown.

De eerste stop op de tour is de GT Tasting Room, gelegen in de historische Gibbston Tavern. Gasten hebben de mogelijkheid om een wijn- of lokale ambachtelijke bierproeverij te selecteren. De wijn wordt verbouwd en geproduceerd in de regio Gibbston en het bier komt van een plaatselijke brouwerij, slechts 1 km verderop. Leer meer over de unieke Gibbston-regio voor het produceren van wijnen van wereldklasse en proef de smaken van wat de lokale bierdrinkers consumeren.
Vervolgens is een korte rit verder naar de regio Gibbston bij Kinross Cellar Door. Hier is een gehoste wijnproeverij met Kinross en hun 4 boutique wijnpartners. Probeer een druppel van elk 5 producenten, waaronder enkele van de meest bekroonde Pinot Noirs ter wereld. Als u de voorkeur geeft aan bieren, heeft u hier de mogelijkheid om 4 heerlijke lokale bieren te proeven, met zelfgeleide proefnotities om de smaken van de bieren te helpen ontcijferen. Tijdens de zittende proeverij kunt u genieten van heerlijke charcuterieplanken.
Tot slot rijden we ongeveer 20 minuten terug naar de Queenstown Marina naar Altitude Brewery. Dit is het moment om te gaan zitten, te ontspannen en te socialiseren met de groep met het proeven van vluchten van zowel lokaal geproduceerde, zeer geklasseerde boetiekwijnen of de ambachtelijke bieren geproduceerd door Altitude voordat u veilig terugkeert naar Queenstown net op tijd voor uw diner.

overall, quite terrific. Our tour guide Shanay was a energetic, super fun person. The first “platter”at Gibson Tavern was chips and salsa, not appropriate for this type of tour! Kinross Winery was FANTASTIC with terrific charcuterie boards as expected, made it all good…. Wood overall highly recommend this experience.

Did the evening tour as an optional activity for g-adventures. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide Caleb was great - and very funny!! Both vineyards and craft beer were great and drinks/food were excellent!

Tour was excellent. Ana -our guide- was amazing. Fun with the group with good selection of wineries along the way. Ana helped fill in questions and provided more infor on the region as well. Have been on other wine excursions. This was the best we’ve done.

Visited 2 wineries and 1 brewery. All 3 were very interesting and had great products. We had a fun time with our guide, Edina, and our group clicked. That’s important to having a good time.

A fantastic tour, good wines and beers, and our Tour Guide, Shanai was brilliant. She certainly made it an occasion. The fee was very reasonable, especially with the platters included, and the four hour tour was just right. A great afternoon that suited a small group, and I would recommend this tour.
