Je geniet ervan dat we de prachtige plekken observeren die onze Puerto Plata heeft, eerst bezoeken we wat de rumfabriek is (1) Macotrix een rondleiding van ongeveer 15 tot 20 minuten onder leiding van een fabrieksmanager, (2) Panoramisch uitzicht hier zullen we zien welke maakt deel uit van de hele stad en maakt deel uit van onze kabelbaan (3) Amber en larimar Dominicaanse edelstenen als je niet bezocht wilt worden, kun je dit aan de chauffeur vertellen (4) Sigarenfabriek Daar kun je ervaren hoe sigaren worden gerold en je kunt er een voor jezelf maken en je kunt degene kopen die je wilt (5) Joaquin Gift Shop als je cadeaus wilt kopen voor je gezin of persoonlijk gebruik, de beste plek en de beste prijzen (6) Paseo de Doña Blanca of beter bekend als pink street dit was het eerste hotel in puerto plata (7) Umbrella Street hier zul je teleurgesteld zijn door de prachtige plek waar je prachtige foto's kunt maken en kunt genieten van een kleine chocoladefabriek. (8) Hierin gaan we naar het Polanco-restaurant waar we een verscheidenheid aan Dominicaanse gerechten zullen eten!

Geleid bezoek aan de Umbrella Street, waar u El Rincon del Cafe en de sigarenfabriek kunt bezoeken.
Bezoek aan het eerste hotel dat in Puerto Plata werd gecreëerd, de Paseo de Dona Blanca, beter bekend als de Roze Straat.
Bezoek aan de Pachuche Bar en Bistro om sigaren en verfrissende drankjes te ontdekken.
Stop bij het prachtige Central Park van Puerto Plata, waar u de traditionele stadshuizen kunt zien, kunt proeven van de biologische ijssalon, interactie kunt hebben met de duiven en een snel bezoek kunt brengen aan het stadhuis.

Gouden Chocoladefabriek Het is een van de grootste fabrieken die we hier in Puerto Plata hebben, daar leer je hoe chocolade wordt gemaakt van het zaadje tot het afgewerkte proces. Mis het niet.
Polanco-restaurant! Hierin kun je Dominicaanse gerechten proeven en je kunt ook genieten van het populairste bier genaamd Presidente, het is het nummer 1 dat we hebben in Puerto Plata en de hele Dominicaanse Republiek en de Dominicaanse Republiek. Het ophalen van elke klant gebeurt op de locatie waar ze zich bevinden. Als het in een hotel is, halen we ze op in de lobby en als het in de cruisehavens is, halen we ze op in de haven. Als het een andere plaats is, kunt u ons voor meer gemak een bericht sturen!

Our cruise stopped in Puerto Plata on March 24th. I had prearranged a city tour since this was our first time visiting. We had Frank as our guide and I can’t say enough good things about him! You can tell he loves his city and I think he knows everyone! Frank is a true gem and definitely was the highlight of our trip. And I’m still talking about the yummy food I had at the restaurant! A time was had! LOL I will definitely book again when we return to this beautiful city.

This was supposed to be a private tour but the company was over booked so we had the pleasure of spending the day with a lovely gentleman and his daughter. We all moved at the same pace and they were very friendly. It was really nice to have a great group to travel with. We got to see the main things in Puerto Plata and even got to make a couple of local stops for some fruit and snacks.

Alfredo was a terrific guide! We experienced a mix of local culture, food, and scenery. We were able to call an audible and grab some excellent empanadas, and still fit in everything we wanted to see and do. If I could give him 10 stars I would!

Everything in the tourist spots is negotiable, best prices are in town at the big local shopping spots, worth a uber or taxi to do a weeks shopping there first, resorts are 2x or more expensivie, USD is Best, CDN can convert at hotel so have to decicide which is smarter, we took both. USD accepeted everywhere. Off resort, prices are 50% less. Hope this helps. :)

We were immediately disappointed with this tour when we expected our driver to be Alfredo but was instead someone else. We requested our tour to be in English and he spoke zero English. Luckily we had one of us who could speak enough Spanish to get started. I sent a message to the tour company and after the first stop which was the rum factory, they sent a guide who spoke some English to go along with the driver. That helped some but the tour had no history or feel for the island. We mostly were taken to stores for shopping among the guides friends. We did not follow the tour as described on Viator or did we stop at all sites. The lunch provided was passable but it felt rushed as they put it at the end and the guide left us there and the driver returned us to the port. We liked this port when we visited before but were disappointed this time.
Young Alfredo had a reservation today from people who had asked him to be the one to serve them since today we had 3 large cruise ships and many reservations. We apologize for any inconvenience!
My husband and I had a great day with Alfredo. We enjoyed really fun and unique experiences. I would book this tour again!
Whilst the driver and itinerary were good the guide was not great - he was late, complained the whole time, didn’t share any of the history or info we were hoping for and answered questions with one word answers. Lunch was also not at the place listed and was pretty ordinary tbh. Sadly would not recommend.
