5 Star⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Carlos was an outstanding guide! He was punctual, friendly, and very knowledgeable about Puerto Plata. He made us feel welcome from the moment he picked us up and ensured we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience throughout the tour. We loved visiting the rum and chocolate factories, Umbrella Street, Pink Street, and the city's historic landmarks. Everything was well organized, and Carlos went above and beyond to make our day special. If you're visiting Puerto Plata, I highly recommend booking a tour with Carlos. You won't be disappointed!

Carlos was an amazing tour guide, very nice and knowledgeable. We got caught in an unexpectedly heavy rainstorm and he did his best to still keep the tour going and make it fun and interesting. Would absolutely recommend this tour and if I get back to Puerto Plata I will book with Carlos again to hopefully get a drier version.

We had a fantastic time on this tour. Carlos was our guide and he was very knowledgeable, attentive to our needs and just an all around kind person. We are a family of four adults and Carlos made this tour interesting for all four of us. I would highly recommend this tour.

Carlos was our tour guide. He is well informed, trustworthy and polite. He drove us to Puerto Plata and we visited numerous places;City Center, Umbrella Street and nearby area. We had an amazing time! We would absolutely recommend him if anyone interested in getting to know the city or want to go on excursions.

Touring Puerto Plata with Carlos was such a great experience! He was very attentive and flexible, told us to take as much time as we wanted at each stop, and was mindful of the time we needed to be back on our cruise ship. He even offered to take us to locations that weren’t official tour stops. Unfortunately, we couldn’t take him up on those offers since we needed to be back on the ship at a certain time. Carlos was very friendly and talked to us about his experiences living in Puerto Plata, including giving us some insight into Puerto Plata and the Dominican Republic’s history. We felt as though we were exploring with a good friend!

This private tour was AWESOME! Carlos was a great host to his city and showed us everything described in the tour description and more. We loved being able to see all the top spots in town while also not feeling rushed. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting for the first time or looking for something private.

Carlos was a great guide and accommodated to our needs. I traveled with my two toddlers and he was very understanding. Took us to a great local spot for ice cream and answered all our questions. Thank you for being understanding of our kids and making the tour such a great experience!!
