Ophaallocaties en -tijden
AANKOMSTTIJD Houd er rekening mee dat de tijd die u bij het afrekenen selecteert, uw aankomsttijd is, en niet de ophaaltijd van het hotel. Het ophalen bij het hotel begint ongeveer 45 - 90 minuten vóór deze tijd, afhankelijk van de locatie van het hotel. HOTEL OPHALEN De ophaaltijd van het hotel varieert afhankelijk van de afstand. Ons reserveringsteam neemt contact met u op om u te adviseren over de specifieke ophaaltijd van uw hotel. Zorg ervoor dat u uw e-mail controleert op deze informatie. Als u vragen heeft, neem dan gerust contact met ons op. Mocht(en) de gast(en) geen vervoer nodig hebben, dan kunnen zij voor de aangegeven aankomsttijd rechtstreeks naar de tourlocatie gaan. CRUISEPASSAGIERS Wij accepteren geen boekingen van cruisepassagiers en bieden daarom geen vervoer vanaf de haven aan. The meal was included in the package and when we arrived they said there wasn't any when we arrived before 2 which is the last arrival time and they didn't tell us anything. And the route was garbage, they only gave us a little ride and that was it, and they didn't even take us to mud or water or anything
The place was nice and the tour guides were nice. But the company has a terrible way of running things. Also, the greeter was rude and giving us attitude for no reason. The website says that the arrival time has to be before 2pm. But they failed to explain that If we arrive that late, the meal that is CHARGED with the package, would not be provided. The ziplines were great, but short. As well with the ATV. There are other places that charge the same or less for a much longer experience.
Not a great experience. On the website it says to get there specifically by 2 to enjoy what we reserved. That’s what my family and I did and they told us that we couldn’t eat food because we arrived “too late” even though that’s what is included in the package. Overall nice people there but they need better service and better instructions. They didn’t offer anything for the inconvenience and we lost lots of money since we came with a big group.
It was a good time, you can drive an ATV and go crazy on the zipline, recommend! When converting USD to Peso have a sheet for convervation. Make tourist feel comfortable!
The Ocean Zipline Adventure at Coconut Cove Beach was a great experience overall. I initially thought it would be just one zipline, but there were actually four and the nicest one goes right over the ocean. It was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking and definitely the highlight of the activity. The setup also felt very safe and the views as well as swimming in the beach was amazing. Our group also did the dune buggy experience which was a lot of fun and a great way to end our time in Chukka Ocean Outpost at Coconut Cove. One small thing that could be improved though is the helmets. Because of the heat, some of them had a strong smell which made them a bit unpleasant to wear. I’m not sure if they need to be washed more often or if there simply weren’t enough clean ones available, but it might be something to keep in mind for future guests. One other suggestion would be for the zipline staff to be mindful about talking about guests in another language especially when assuming no one understands. My group of nine people actually knew one of the languages being spoken about us right in front of us which made for a bit of an awkward moment lol.. That said, it didn’t ruin the experience. One of the instructors, Oliver, seemed a bit grumpy and kind of in his own world compared to the rest of the staff, but it wasn’t anything serious enough to take away from the overall experience.
My wife and I love the Amazing Race and this is one of those experiences that felt right out of the TV show. We began with our guide, Jesus, a nice young man meeting us at the Cruise port and getting us in the back of a truck for an hour long ride to the outpost. The ride took us through Puerto Plata and Jesus gave us a great telling of current and historic elements of DR. Then, we got off the paved road. It was a bumpy, 12-15 km ride through beautiful land, seeing some amazing parts of this beautiful island. We were tossed all over the place but Jesus kept us laughing. When we arrived, we got to do the zip lines first. The crew, who had great nicknames, were great. I only actually remember Oliver, but I know there was a scrappy doo as well. They were great at showing us what to do. They took our whole group up and we zipped over trees and twice over the cove. One of the coolest things I've done. Then, Mario took us on an ATV tour where we splashed in the mud and had a grand time getting dirty. We finished with a lunch. I had grilled fish and red beans. So tasty. Spent a short moment in their cove and got back on for our bumpy ride back. But my guy, Jesus, kept us entertained by singing backstreet boys. Such a great experience.
Angel was a fantastic tour guide on our transport to Chukka. Such a beautiful drive. The ATV felt a bit short, but it was so much fun. Love the opportunity of a photo shoot with an oceanic background. Zip lining was seamless and such an experience. I almost wish it was longer. We had time to hang out on the beach and very much enjoyed our time.
This was an excellent experience! I had never zip lined before and the staff made me feel very comfortable with safety explanations and overview of activity. Shout out to our guide Oliver(aka macaroni) and another man whose nickname is chocolatea. I was not comfortable with the ATV, but they helped me and it ended up being fun. The beach there is beautiful. If I had to make one recommendation it would be to allow more time for the beach. We had a 45 minute break between the two activities and that was not enough time. There was a short time afterwards but we ate the lunch that was provided. The ride to the activities is very bumpy, be prepared. I can’t wait to zip-line again!
Highly recommended experience. It is best to book the first possible tour and travel with your own off-road vehicle. So after the great zipline adventure and the ATV tour as well as lunch you still have until about 16:00 to enjoy the beautiful beach in peace. All guides are particularly positive: great, easy and very fun, which makes the tours even more entertaining. A small minus: The alcoholic drinks at the beach bar are significantly overpriced. The same goes for the photos taken during the tours and which you can buy afterwards – these are too expensive in my opinion. You better make your own. Overall, however, a great experience with a lot of variety and beautiful location.
