Kinderen jonger dan 7 jaar zijn niet toegestaan, inclusief baby's in dragers, omdat deze ervaring het meest geschikt is voor oudere kinderen en volwassenen. We nodigen gezinnen met jongere kinderen uit om ons nieuwe Lydgate Chocolate Tasting Room in het centrum van Kapaa te bezoeken: nu geopend van maandag t/m vrijdag van 10:00 tot 16:00 uur.

- Boerderijbezoeken vereisen een rondleiding reserveren (we bieden geen zelfstandige rondleidingen). Bezoek in plaats daarvan ons proeflokaal in Kapaa stad!

Great walking tour of the farm. Learned a whole lot about the cocoa bean harvesting and processing and about different types of chocolate and regions. Amazing tour guide, Jenna, she was funny and a wealth of knowledge. You get quite a bit of little chocolate variety tastings so you can see what you like and what different processing does to the flavor, so you better like chocolate! They hinted at opening a second tour after the processing areas were renovated and we would probably come back for that too!
This was an incredible experience for our entire family. We loved taste testing the chocolate and exotic fruit and learning about how chocolate is made.

This was a GREAT tour and chocolate (and fruit) tasting. See the beautiful foliage on the farm and learning about the process of transforming cacao into chocolate was fascinating. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Finally, the artisan chocolate and honey are fabulous. You’ll enjoy and will have offset any calories by the walk.
Jess was a fabulous tour guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and the three hours went by very quickly. We consumed way too much chocolate and the fruit tasting was a delicious addition and I am now addicted to white pineapple! We highly recommend this tour if you get a chance!

Great chocolate and great experience. Very informative and this tour felt very authentic. The passion for chocolate was evident and the exotic fruit tasting was a nice bonus as part of the tour. Great tour!!!
Excellent experience. The 17 year old enjoyed it (chocolate and fruit Tasting more than we could have asked for honestly) Educational, beautiful. Absolutely worth the trip!
From the ease of online booking, to enjoying SO MUCH CHOCOLATE, this experience was great! Our Google driving directions took us in circles, but once we arrived (slightly late) we were greeted warmly. Our guide, Jess, obviously loves and excels at her job and was exceptionally personable. We saw and learned about so many plants in the botanical garden, experiencing sights, smells, and tastes. We even got a little plant “sex ed” when she demonstrated pollinating a vanilla blossom by hand! Tasting a variety of Lydgate chocolates and honeys was awesome. We happily ended our visit at the gift shop, knowing we are better informed about artisan chocolate and have award-winning delicacies to take home with us.
