We nodigen gezinnen met jongere kinderen uit om ons nieuwe Lydgate Chocolate Tasting Room in het centrum van Kapaa te bezoeken: nu geopend van maandag t/m vrijdag van 10:00 tot 16:00 uur.

- Boerderijbezoeken vereisen een rondleiding reserveren (we bieden geen zelfstandige rondleidingen). Bezoek in plaats daarvan ons proeflokaal in Kapaa stad!

Great and informative tour for the whole family. Kids loved learning about chocolate and tasting all kids of chocolates. At the end, our son said he can’t have anymore chocolate :)

This cacao farm tour is beautiful. You will sample a lot of different chocolates, and definitely conclude that Lydgate Farms' chocolate is way better than any other! If you like horticulture, you'll see some beautiful plants and learn a lot about the chocolate making process.
We visited Lydgate Farms today. Our family of 4. 2 adults, 2 young adults (19 & 22). Jess and Jasmine were our guides. They were both very knowledgeable and personable. We learned that Jess was actually the niece of our neighbors back home in Iowa. It's a very small world. The tasting was fun. We tasted some in season fruits as well as many chocolates both from their collection and from around the world. We even got to taste the cacao straight from the fruit long before it becomes chocolate. We also tasted some different honeys along with chocolate covered macadamia nuts and espresso beans. Highly recommend this experience.
The experience was really great. Be prepared to taste lots amazing chocolates. It is an active farm with lots of vegetation so put on lots of bug repellent.
This tour was filled will all kinds of chocolate information including info about plants and local animals. We learn so much on this tour. Our tour guide Sheri was very entertaining and full of information. We would recommend this tour to anyone who likes chocolate or fruit and vegetation.
I found this tour so interesting. Sherrie ( I hope I have spelled that correctly) was passionate about the company she works for and provided so much information. I learned so much about Lydgate Farms and their vision for the future as well as the entire process of the cacao beans and all the work that goes into making the finished product. Also learned about the honey and vanilla. The property is lush and gorgeous and I love that Sherrie pointed out so many interesting plants. The samples were amazing. It was almost like a high end wine tasting but with chocolate!!! Also, loved that we tasted so many exotic local fruits. This tour was the highlight of my trip, and I think it was because the compassion that Sherry had absolutely shone through. Thank you so much.
