Al-Muizz li-Din Allah al-Fatimi Street of kortweg al-Muizz Street, is een belangrijke straat van noord naar zuid in de ommuurde stad van het historische Caïro, Egypte. Het is een van de oudste straten van Caïro, aangezien deze teruggaat tot de stichting van de stad (de vroegere Fustat niet meegerekend) door de Fatimiden-dynastie in de 10e eeuw, onder hun vierde kalief, Al-Mu'izz li-Din Allah (naar wie de straat wordt genoemd). De moskee van al-Hakim is een historische moskee in Caïro, Egypte. Het is vernoemd naar Al-Hakim bi-Amr Allah (985–1021), de zesde Fatimid-kalief en de 16e Ismaili Imam. De bouw van de moskee werd oorspronkelijk gestart door kalief al-'Aziz, de zoon van al-Mu'izz en de vader van al Hakim, in 990 na Christus. Het werd in 1013 voltooid door al-Hakim en daarom is het naar hem vernoemd. Khan el-Khalili is een beroemde bazaar en soek in het historische centrum van Caïro, Egypte. Opgericht als handelscentrum in het Mamluk-tijdperk. Het bazaardistrict is sindsdien een van de belangrijkste trekpleisters van Caïro geworden voor zowel toeristen als Egyptenaren.

De naam Khan el-Khalili verwees historisch gezien naar een enkel gebouw in het gebied; tegenwoordig verwijst het naar het hele winkelgebied.

This was part of our 10days tour in Egypt so we had experience with 4 different guides and we had Zizou for this specific day tour and he’s by far the best guide for the whole trip for us - we realised how important it is to have a great guide and how different the experience could end up with a different guide. Zizou is well organised, enthusiastic and passionate which made our day much more interesting and exciting. He is incredibly knowledgeable and fantastic at making the history interesting, and he paced and organised our day perfectly so we didn’t feel rushed or overwhelmed. He is also a great photographer if you like pictures! We’re very happy with the tour and would highly recommend Zizou to anyone traveling in Cairo!

It's a fantastic scene with a strong Arabic atmosphere, an old café, Zizou's accompaniment and instructions, so the whole shopping trip is fruitful! We strongly recommend accompanying guides to visit this market!

My first day in Cairo, I chose this tour in the morning. Enas and her driver pick me up at my hotel promptly @ 4pm. Her driver was a pro at negotiating thru the harry Cairo traffic. Since this was a 4pm tour I got to view Cairo during daylight and the beautiful night lights of my tour. Enas is a lovely tour guide and very personable. I give her 5 stars as my tour was very enjoyable and learnt a lot about Cairo from her. I highly recommend Enas and this tour
