Ga met ons mee voor deze 3 uur durende rondleiding door een middeleeuws paleis in het hart van Londen. De Tower of London zit boordevol geschiedenis, ooit een gevangenis, een koninklijk paleis, een koninklijke menagerie en een wapenkamer. Onze reis voert ons door verschillende torens, waar we de vorige gevangenen opnieuw kunnen beleven. Het hoogtepunt is het juweliershuis, waar je verblind zult zijn door de prachtige weergave van edelstenen en de kroonjuwelen. Je privé Blue Badge-gids staat vol met feiten en verhalen om je tijdens de tour te engageren en te vermaken, wat zorgt voor een geweldige ervaring. Als je kinderen hebt op je feest, zullen ze aan het einde van een leuke quiz met een prijs genieten.

De rondleiding begint op de door u aangegeven tijd, uw gids wacht op u in het Tower Welcome Center, net buiten de hoofdingang. We moeten een paar poorten passeren met moordgaten om veilig binnen te komen. Je gids zal je kennis laten maken met Merlina, Jubilee, Grip en andere raven. Sommigen rusten misschien in hun kooien, sommige huppelen vrij rond. Ze kunnen zelfs poseren voor een foto, maar komen niet te dichtbij, ze kunnen bijten! Wie zat gevangen in de Bloody-toren? Laten we het ontdekken, meteen nadat we de martelkamer hebben verlaten, waar je nog steeds enkele van de brute middeleeuwse instrumenten kunt zien.
Het is nu tijd om onder de indruk te zijn van de juwelen, de kroon, de scepter, de bol en nog veel meer. De hele collectie, die achter dikke deuren wordt bewaakt, heeft een onvoorstelbare waarde.
We verkennen de witte toren, het oudste deel van het fort. Volgepakt met harnassen ooit behorend tot beroemde koningen, Henry VIII, Charles I, om er maar een paar te noemen. Boven kunnen kinderen en volwassen mensen meedoen met een interactieve tentoonstelling. Er is zoveel te zien rondom de Tower of London.
Zodra we het fort ontvluchten, heb je een fantastisch uitzicht op de beroemde Tower Bridge. Misschien hebben we zelfs het geluk om het te zien.

We were lucky to have Galina as our private tour guide today. We are a grandma, my adult daughter and my teenaged grandkids. My concerns were not knowing if three hours was too long for a tour and if the kids would be bored. Rest assured, if you’re thinking of booking this experience, the time flies and all of us were thoroughly engaged every minute. Galina clearly loves history and weaves in exciting stories about the Tower of London and its many occupants. She answered lots of questions from all of us and was engaging with the kids. This is an enormous venue (we were surprised by how vast it is) and Galina walked us through it patiently. This tour is expensive and it is worth every cent. We were taken back in time at the Tower of London. With very descriptive narrative we were transported to a time when the tower was a lived in castle to the current day. And the Crown Jewels are breathtaking.
