Deze tour is uniek, hij laat je in één tour de grootsheid van ondergrondse architectuur, de magie en mystiek van onze voorouderlijke culturen rond de Colombiaanse hoofdstad zien, je doet het altijd in het gezelschap van een van onze deskundige gidsen. De tour begint in de enige kathedraal ter wereld die ondergronds is gebouwd, tot 180 meter onder de grond. Het is een indrukwekkende megastructuur waar de vindingrijkheid om een mijn van deze omvang te bouwen op spectaculaire wijze wordt gecombineerd met de artistieke visie van de christelijke stations van het kruis en de bouw van een religieuze tempel die een groots beeldhouwwerk en verlichting integreert. We zullen de tour voortzetten op weg naar een verborgen schat in de inheemse natuur van de Bogotá-savanne. Op het hoogste punt, midden in de bergen, ligt de heilige lagune van Guatavita, de plek waar een oude legende is geboren: El Dorado.

This was an exceptional experience, from the pickup to the drop-off at the hotel. At all times, Jhovanny and Christian were very kind, respectful, and attentive. They truly demonstrated a wealth of knowledge at both locations: the Sacred Lagoon of the Cacique of the Muyskas community of Guatavita and the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá. I highly recommend their guidance and the narrative they provide about these places.
We had a very good experience with this private tour to the Salt Cathedral in Zipaquirá. From the very beginning, our guide, German, was impeccable: extremely punctual and a very careful and safe driver. The tour started with a tour of the historic center of Zipaquirá before going to the Cathedral. After visiting the Cathedral, we went to a local restaurant where we had the opportunity to taste delicious traditional Colombian food. The tour was very good and the fact of being private made all the difference for us to do things at our own pace. We recommend!
From the purchase experience, Nomadas team was very attentive to put together a special tour as we could not climb Guatavita lagoon, so we did something specially built for our interests and possibilities. Our private tour to Laguna Guatavita and Cathedral Sal Zipaquirá was terrific. Our guide, David, from Nomadas Colombia Travel, is a wonderful storyteller, and he provided a great explanation of the sites. He is kind and patient too. David knew the good spots for eating, including a stop for arepas and fresh hot corn on the cob, which tasted like popcorn. His driver was lovely too. Highly recommend.
