Je zult 9 verrukkelijke gerechten ervaren, waaronder de beste Central en South Rice Pancake, Beef Stew, Banana Girdle-cakes of Vietnamese Pizza, Coconut Ice Cream, een Seafood Meal met 3 verschillende gerechten of BBQ-vlees als je allergisch bent voor zeevruchten, een lekker toetje vlaaicake met karamel, koffie en kokosmelk. Je krijgt vooral de kans om Homemade Forest Banana Sticky Rice Wine te proeven, die in de aarden pot wordt gebrouwen door Street Food Man Vinny.

Ontmoet 's avonds je lokale gidsen en sluit je aan bij duizenden andere motoren terwijl je door de kleurrijke straten van de stad rijdt. Verken opmerkelijke buurten, waaronder district 3 waar de lokale bevolking woont en leer alles over Ho Chi Minh-stad. Stop om te genieten van wat "Bánh Xèo" en "Bánh Khọt" (rijstpannenkoekjes uit het zuiden en midden), en leer hoe ze worden gemaakt door een chef-kok met meer dan 20 jaar ervaring. Ontdek de grootste nachtbloemenmarkt en het straatvoedselparadijs en geniet daarna van de prachtige boeketten. Maak een korte wandeling door het gebied en dompel jezelf onder in de stroom van de Vietnamese keuken die duizenden jaren teruggaat en ontvang een speciaal geschenk van je gids. Ga diep in een waar doolhof van lokale markt om de authentieke gerechten te proeven, zoals bananengirdlecake en Vietnamese pizza gegrild op houtskoolvuur of gegrild rundvlees met citroengras. Rijd vervolgens naar het hart van District 10 en stop bij een lokaal restaurant van de 2e generatie sinds 1975 om te genieten van de beste Vietnamese rundvleesstoofpot "Bò Kho" in de aarden pot. Bò Kho zit boordevol malse, uit elkaar vallende gesmoorde stukjes rundvlees boordevol kruiden, aromaten en een heerlijke bouillon die perfect samengaat met Vietnamees stokbrood! Of de andere optie is Bánh Canh Cua, beschouwd als een van de beste noedelsoepen met zeevruchten. Banh Canh Cua bestaat uit dikke noedels in een lichtgele bouillon met verschillende toppings.
Ga naar district 5, waar de streetfoodscene van de stad echt gedijt. Beloon je smaakpapillen met een hemels gerecht van Coconut Ice Cream of Coconut Jelly, gemaakt van kokoswater en kokosmelk in de kokosnoot bij een lokaal kraampje. Kijk hoe de eigenaar voor je ogen wat kokosijs bereidt. Maak een ritje door de stad voor een verleidelijk uitzicht op het nachtleven en ervaar de drukte van de modestraat. Wring je door nauwe steegjes waar auto's niet bij kunnen en reis langs de oevers van de Saigon-rivier met een welkom briesje.
Beëindig je straatvoedselervaringen op de motor in district 4, waar je kunt genieten van een zeevruchtenmaaltijd van 3 verschillende gerechten (als je allergisch bent voor zeevruchten, wordt dit vervangen door BBQ-vlees). Geniet van een lekker dessert van vlaai met karamel, koffie en kokosmelk. Spoel het allemaal af met lokaal bier of frisdrank, mineraalwater en vooral zelfgemaakte Forest Banana Sticky Rice Wine die in de aarden pot wordt gebrouwen door Street Food Man Vinny. Banaan werd geplukt van enorme bananenbomen in de diepte van gigantische bossen in het noordwesten van Vietnam. Rijstwijn werd op de meest traditionele manier gedistilleerd in Vinny's dorp, ver weg van de stad.

We halen en brengen je van accommodatie in District 1, 3, 4, 5, 10. Voor elke pick-up buiten dit gebied worden extra kosten in rekening gebracht, afhankelijk van de locatie en afstand van de accommodatie. U kunt ook naar het Saigon Opera House, 7 Lam Son Square, District 1 gaan. We halen u op en zetten u daar af.

Albert and his team took our family on what was an amazing night of food and sightseeing. They made our 10 year old n 15 year old girl feel safe and comfortable on their first ever scooter ride on the busy roads of Hi Chi Minh. They were attentive and caring the entire time. The Street Food Tour was absolutely fantastic, me and my partner had an amazing time. Nhung and Doanh (our lovely guides) came to meet us at our hotel which was super convenient. They were charming, funny, and knowledagble throughout the whole tour. We went all over Ho Chi Minh City, and got to sightsee see parts of the city we wouldn't have otherwise gone to in between certain food stops. The food was delicious and Nhung and Doanh always took time to explain the cultural and culinary context of everything we were having, which was very interesting. My partner is a coeliac and couldn't have gluten. This wasn't a problem at all for Nhung and Doanh, they were super knowledable about our dietary requirements and always spoke to vendors to make sure all ingredients are coeliac friendly and risks of cross-contamination were addressed too. We felt stress free and safe, which can often be hard when traveling abroad with dietary requirements. The food tour is a lovely way to spend an evening and a fantastic way to get to know Ho Chi Minh City from passionate locals!

This was hands down the best food tour we have ever taken. Hazel and Lam, our guides, met me and my daughter at our hotel on time. They took us to several hidden gems that only locals would know about - each specialising in a different type of food. In total we tried at least 10 dishes, covering the gamut of Vietnamese cuisine, including restaurant dishes, street food, night markets, desserts, etc. Every thing we tried was delicious and authentic. Hazel and Lam also took us to local neighbourhoods and communities, so we could get a sense of everyday HCMC life. It was fun riding on the bikes, and they drove safely. They also told us many interesting and entertaining anecdotes, which made the evening feel like a night out with friends. We had a blast and it was easily the most memorable and fun time we had in our entire 10-day trip across Vietnam! I could not recommend this tour enough.

We did a beautiful food tour on the motorcycles yesterday! We visited places and had local food that includes food like.. Bánh xèo which is a Vietnamese pancake that has pork or seafood with a collection of different herbs! Beef stew with delicious beef with broth and vegetables with crispy bread. Coconut ice cream, (we had SWEETCORN for a topping!) Coffee caramel cake (delicious!) And much more including shrimp and noodles! We drove around the city and it’s so beautiful at night time! The people there were so nice and welcoming, definitely a highlight of Ho Chi Minh City. Big thank you to our tour guys.. Chriss,Storm,Chloe and Thuy!

My fiancée and I just done the motorbike food tour with Albert and Joyce as our guides. They were fantastic at showing us round to many local food spots and introducing us to new Viet dishes we hadn’t tried before. All the meals were great, most of the locations were in back alleys and not on google maps so would be difficult to find without this tour! If you have food allergies or restrictions they can cater for this. Couldn’t recommend enough, thanks again Albert and Joyce!

Had an amazing night with my partner and our 12-year-old daughter. Communication before the tour was excellent, and the tour itself was such a fantastic way to see the city by motorbike while trying all the roadside food stalls you’ve been wanting to try but weren’t quite sure about!
