Deze tour van een halve dag toont de enorme diversiteit van cultuur, landschap en geschiedenis van de stad, tegen de achtergrond van de Sonoran Desert. Je pick-up begint je excursie om het historische Arizona State Capitol-gebouw, Old Town Scottsdale, de ongelooflijke architectuur van de "Jewel of the Desert" in de Biltmore in Arizona en een van de prachtige bergparken in de vallei te verkennen.

Net als de woestijnomgeving, zijn de Phoenix en Scottsdale vrij uniek. Downtown Phoenix, de thuisbasis van het historische Arizona Capitol-gebouw, biedt een uniek stedelijk gebied waar sportfans, modeliefhebbers en geschiedenisliefhebbers elkaar ontmoeten.

Het Arizona Biltmore is het enige bestaande luxehotel met designelementen van de beroemde architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Het Biltmore, gebouwd in 1929, werd gekroond tot "Jewel of the Desert" en was het favoriete resort voor vroegere en huidige beroemdheden, staatshoofden en kampioenen van het bedrijfsleven. Dit beroemde hotel ligt in de prachtige wijk Biltmore Estates, die ook deel uitmaakt van dit deel van de tour, en biedt een uniek, close-up uitzicht op de architecturale invloeden van Wright.
Bezoek het aloude gebouw van de hoofdstad van Arizona, waar de territoriale regering van Arizona zat totdat Arizona in 1912 een staat werd.

De tour American west is a good company who organised this one day trip for us . Mark H was a great driver and guide and was explaining a lot of history . We had ample time to see Grand Canyon and Sedona . I would strongly recommend if you have only a day in Phienix to go on this tour Dr senthil London UK 22/8/2025
This was a great, relaxed, and comfortable tour of the Phoenix and Scottsdale. My wife and I really enjoyed it. And Tracy was an excellent guide. He gave first hand experiences and historical information about the places we visited. I would highly recommend it to anyone and had I not done it before I'd do it again. Mike
We were picked up at our air BnB promptly at 9 am by Mark, who was very cheerful and friendly. The confirmation email I received the night before said we would be picked up by Bruce but who knows, maybe it was a last minute change. The mini coach was clean and comfortable and Mark offered us bottled water from a cooler. Mark drove us to the destinations outlined in the itinerary, but he really didn’t offer many details about the history, interesting stories about the area, or point out anything interesting that we couldn’t already see. We have taken city bus tours in Philadelphia, Palm Springs, and Seattle and have always been happy with them. Unfortunately, Mark’s tour was disappointing compared to our past tours. He did suggest a wonderful place for lunch in old town Scottsdale and is a nice guy, but for the price, I don’t feel we got our money’s worth.
This was an outstanding tour of Phoenix area. The price was reasonable for a tour in a classy and comfortable vehicle. They provided cool water during the 102 degree weather. The tour was informative and professional. This was an excellent tour.
