Ontmoet uw vriendelijke Engelstalige gids in de lobby van uw hotel en u gaat naar het Chengdu Panda Breeding Center, een non-profit onderzoeks- en fokcentrum voor reuzenpanda's en andere zeldzame dieren. Breng uw ochtend door met de schattigste, maar toch indrukwekkende, wezens in China! 3 uur in het Panda Center, tour door de baby- en volwassen pandagebieden. Tijdens een rondleiding bezoekt u verschillende delen van het centrum om een volledig overzicht te krijgen van de ontwikkeling van een panda. Bezoek de babytuin, waar u in de zomer geboren reuzenpandawelpen kunt zien, die bij de geboorte slechts ongeveer 3,5 ounces (100 gram) wegen en in de derde maand zelfstandig kunnen lopen. Stop dan bij de sub-adult tuin, waar de adolescente panda's rondhangen, en bekijk de volwassen tuin, waar de reuzenpanda's in al hun volgroeide glorie leven. Maak foto's van deze bedreigde diersoort terwijl ze bamboe eten, slapen of ronddartelen. Bezoek ten slotte het rode pandagedeelte om deze kleine schattige dieren te zien en probeer de slapende rode panda's te spotten die uitgestrekt op takken liggen in de rode pandatuin.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Vertrekpunt: Gratis ophaalservice bij uw stadshotel of verblijfplaats in Chengdu (alle hotels binnen de 3e ringweg). Als u buiten de 3e ringweg verblijft, moet u worden opgehaald bij de hoofdingang van Wuhouci. U kunt ook vooraf contact met ons opnemen om te regelen dat u wordt opgehaald bij uw hotel of luchthaven en extra kosten aan de chauffeur betaalt. Terugkeerpunt: Keert terug naar het oorspronkelijke vertrekpunt of kan worden afgezet in het stadscentrum.

Perry was a great guide. He navigated us through the panda base to avoid the crowds, which allowed us to see and capture many great spots of the pandas. His English was very good and his explanations were informative. Highly recommended!
Hexie was a great guide and very knowledgeable about pandas and Chengdu as a whole. It is always a challenge with 2 young kids but Hexie was patient and allowed us to move at our own pace.
Perry was an awesome guide! We got picked up right on time. Driver was courteous and professional. Having Perry with us, we were able to navigate quickly through the Panda Villas and see the giant pandas, red pandas, and the babies!!! We went quickly but saw them all close up and while active in the morning which was a huge treat! Perry also guided us to a quiet cafe for a snack and latte with panda art. Very fun. Our panda tour in Chengdu was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to China, and much of that was thanks to our fantastic guide, Perry. I loved the experience! We came early in the morning so the pandas were awake and was not too hot for them to be outside and play and eat. Our guide Perry told us a lot of fun fact and real stories behind the pandas and also knew the fastest way to nice spots where we could see the pandas. Really enjoyed it!

We had a wonderful day with Perry, our excellent English speaking guide. The Panda sanctuary was breathtaking! Not too busy and we saw many Pandas enjoying their start to the day. It was an absolute must do in Chengdu. The rest of the day was also excellent as Perry guided us through Chengdu and gave us excellent commentary. What a brilliant time.
