De Panda is de hoogtepunten in Chengdu tour, chengdu panda-basis is ongeveer 30 minuten rijden met de auto van Chengdu downtown. Chengdu gigantische panda centrum van fokken en onderzoek trekt bijna 100.000 buitenlandse bezoekers per jaar. Over tientallen hectaren met bamboebossen en een native-achtige habitat, hebben meer dan 50 panda's, alleen hier zie je de baby panda in de zomer. De beroemde 71 meter lange Leshan Giant Buddha is uit een rotswand gehouwen. Het toont een zittende Boeddha met zijn handen op zijn knieën. Het is het hoogste beeld van de Boeddha en de schouders zijn 28 meter breed. De kleinste teennagel kan gemakkelijk een persoon plaatsen en het 7 meter brede oor biedt plaats aan twee personen. Het hoofd van de Leshan Giant Buddha is 14,7 meter lang en 10 meter breed en is bedekt met 1021 krullenkrullen. Mensen zeggen: "De berg is een Boeddha en de Boeddha is een berg"

Houd je camera bij de hand als je twee van de meest fotowaardige locaties van Chengdu bezoekt tijdens deze dagtour - de op de UNESCO-lijst genoteerde Grote Boeddha in Leshan en de Chengdu Panda Base. Begin uw dag dicht bij de schattige inheemse panda's van China, met de kans om reuzenpanda's, rode panda's en babypanda's te spotten.
De reusachtige Boeddha van Leshan, die op de werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat, is 71 meter hoog, waar drie rivieren samenkomen - maar Leshan heeft meer te bieden dan het standbeeld. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip, took it at our own pace, no rushing with a tour guide and chose the things we wanted to see. Relaxing day and the driver Wang Tao was excellent, extremely professional and informative. Highly recommend

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Private Tour! Our Panda, Leshan Buddha, and private tour was absolutely fantastic, and a huge part of that was our driver, Liu Yuan. He was incredibly kind, professional, and made the entire day feel effortless. His translations were excellent, which made communication easy and helped us better appreciate everything we were seeing.

Our driver was so kind and accommodating! We got to ride in a very spacious and comfortable vehicle, and he took us around and was kind enough to extend our trip to end at a later time, so we could spend more of our day around both landmarks. :)

A tale of two highlights — and one lesson in reading the fine print! This tour is essentially transportation only, so manage your expectations accordingly. Our driver was wonderfully friendly and kind, but spoke no English, so everything went through phone translation. He also surprised us with a stop for the most amazing dumplings — a lovely touch. First stop: the Giant Panda Research Center. Absolutely spectacular. We could have spent the entire day there — these bears are utterly adorable and the facility is world class. Anyone visiting Chengdu, do not skip this. Note that entry tickets are not included, which caught us off guard. Then a two-hour drive to Leshan Buddha, approached by a 25-minute boat ride to its base. Undeniably impressive — a staggering feat of craftsmanship created over 1,200 years ago. That said, four hours of driving for a relatively brief visit made us question the value. Worth seeing, but temper expectations for the journey. Overall: great driver, incredible pandas, impressive Buddha — just read the inclusions carefully before booking!

I had such a wonderful experience with Shi Jianhua! He was incredibly kind and friendly. He took me to eat some of the best noodles I’ve had in Chengdu. I felt very comfortable the entire time and truly enjoyed discovering the city with him. I would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Chengdu!

Mr Liu picked us up in a nice clean car and took us to the panda base and then the Leshan grand Buddha. He was very accommodating when we were looking for a snack and stopped when we needed. The tickets to visit the sites had to be purchased separately and he helped us with that as well. He was also very responsive on WeChat.
