Edinburgh Castle is een van de meest suggestieve kastelen in heel Groot-Brittannië en domineert al eeuwenlang de skyline van Edinburgh. In deze 3 uur durende privétour verken je dit geweldige kasteel en ontdek je zijn interessante en soms bloederige geschiedenis. Er is een maximale groepsgrootte van 6. Interne kamers zijn per audio Gids als gevolg van verplichte kasteelregels. We zijn er trots op dat op 16 augustus 2022 onze tour te zien was als de Star Prize op CBS Price Is Right.

We kunnen u ontmoeten in elk Central Edinburgh hotel en lopen naar het kasteel of we kunnen u ontmoeten op een afgesproken locatie bij de Royal Mile. WE KUNNEN NIEMAND ONTMOETEN OF OPHALEN VAN DE CRUISETERMINAL. ER IS GEEN PARKEERPLAATS BIJ HET KASTEEL EN HET LIGT OP 5 MIJL AFSTAND VAN DE TERMINAL.

Enormous amount of war history and terrific guide. Small group was great to learn all the hidden parts of the castle. Absolute wrath of information.

I booked a 3-hour tour and ended up with a 4.5 hour tour! While our guide was extremely thorough, the level of detail was lost on us once hunger for lunch set in. When we advised the guide that we had another activity planned at 3:00 he simply spoke faster.

Andy was our tour guide for a private 4 hour tour. We had both been to Edinburgh Castle before and wanted to hear stories and history other than the “usual” Edinburgh tour guide. Andy did not disappoint! He was personable, engaging, with a good sense of humor and very proud of his heritage. He was also very flexible when we said “oh, can we have more of this and less of that?”. Overall it was a great tour!

Great! We enjoyed touring the castle and could have spent many more hours seeing it all. Highlights were the Scottish Crown Jewels, and the small chapel. We were fortunate to be there in August and attend the Military Tattoo on the Castle esplanade.

The tour overall was great. The tour guide meet us at the hotel and we enjoyed a nice walk to the castle. While getting a good overall history of scotland and some funny stories to boot. At the castle it was the same we got loads of history and stories about it. It was all at our pace so no rushing from spot to spot like some tours.
Tour guide Andy was incredibly knowledgeable about Scottish history, culture, and the history of the castle. Very much recommended.
