Geniet van de prachtige Highland locaties beroemd gemaakt door de Harry Potter en James Bond filmreeks. Langs beroemde bezienswaardigheden zoals Linlithgow Palace, de mythische Kelpies en het dramatisch hooggelegen Stirling Castle op weg naar de Highlands. Ga noordwaarts door Glencoe terwijl je Chauffeur / Gids de filmlocaties voor de James Bond en Harry Potter franchise aanwijst Stop in het Fort William gebied voor de lunch voordat je een korte rit maakt naar het Glenfinnan viaduct dat beroemd is geworden door zijn scènes in de Harry Potter films uit de filmopnames van de Hogwarts Express. Maak een korte wandeling naar het uitzichtpunt, waar u een ongeëvenaard uitzicht heeft over Loch Shiel en over het viaduct. We zullen ons best doen om op tijd te zijn om de trein over het viaduct te zien rijden. De weg naar huis is tijd om te ontspannen en te genieten van het landschap van de Highlands. Laatste stop is bij het historische stadje Pitlochry voordat u verder naar huis gaat over de Firth of Forth langs de UNESCO Forth Rail Bridge op weg terug naar Edinburgh.

Onze eerste stop voor een drankje en een comfortabele pauze is Callander, waar u de kans krijgt een hapje te eten en uw benen te strekken. Als u geluk heeft, heeft u misschien de kans om de Hooglandkoeien te ontmoeten (afhankelijk van het seizoen).
Glencoe, de locatie van het bloedbad van de MacDonald-clan in 1692, is een van de beroemdste valleien van Schotland. Hier stap je uit voor een fotomoment met de dramatische noordelijke bergkammen die bekend staan als de Three Sisters
Bijna halverwege onze tour stoppen we bij Fort William, bekend als de hoofdstad van de Hooglanden. Hier heeft u tijd om te lunchen in een van de vele lokale pubs, restaurants of cafés langs de geplaveide hoofdstraat.
Het Glenfinnan Viaduct is beroemd geworden door zijn scènes in de Harry Potter-films en wordt omgeven door bergen aan de prachtige oevers van Loch Shiel. Vanaf het bezoekerscentrum kun je een korte wandeling maken naar het uitzichtpunt om getuige te zijn van het adembenemende uitzicht over de vallei over Loch Shiel, dat wordt gebruikt in verschillende Harry Potter-scènes en het meer waarop Zweinstein zit. Zoek een goede plek om de Jacobite Steam Train over het Glenfinnan Viaduct* te zien rijden. Toiletten en eten beschikbaar in het bezoekerscentrum. *Houd er rekening mee dat de Jacobite Steam Train wordt geëxploiteerd door een apart bedrijf en hoewel onze tour is gepland rond het zien van dit kunnen we niet garanderen dat de trein zal rijden op de dag van uw tour. Deze dienst is seizoensgebonden en loopt van maandag 7 april tot vrijdag 24 oktober 2025.
We stoppen in de Victoriaanse badplaats Pitlochry voor een kans om de benen te strekken en wat lichte versnaperingen te pakken voordat het laatste deel van de reis naar huis begint

10/10 would recommend! This tour was our favorite day of our visit to Scotland. Seeing the Highland Cows and the viaduct was truly a once in a lifetime experience, with incredible views all along the way! Keith was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and shared his own personal anecdotes along the way, which gave the tour that much more unique value! We were also informed that Stewart of Stewart tours was driving a bus alongside us- great to know that the owner of the tour bus company was along for the journey with us !! Thank you Keith and Stewart!!
Keith was our driver and he did the best job ever! Besides driving us safely to the Glenfinnan Viaduct, he told us many interesting facts about Scotland and he made the best dad jokes. In addition, he played nice Scottish music always fitting to his stories and the landscape we drove through. We enjoyed the tour a lot, we had enough time at each stop, had time for a lunch break and the most important thing: we had more than enough time at and we got insides for the best spot at the Glenfinnan Viaduct and Keith made sure we were there at time so that we could see the amazing Jacobite Train (aka Hogwarts Express). It was a 10/10 toure! And @Keith: She did smile at me! ;)
Our tour guide was Keith. The tour was ABSOLUTELY amazing, it was all we hoped for. The guide puts on a soft music on the bus accordingly to the stops, and also shares some very interesting stories about the Highlands (and some hilarious jokes from time to time too). You definitely cannot get bored! Despite it being a 12 hour tour, the feeling is that time flies. Very worthy!

The ride was long but enjoyed the stops. Felt like we spent too long at viaducts. Scott was amazing.
Our bus driver was Chris and he was wonderful. Made the whole experience extra special. The amount of knowledge he had all the stories he shared were exceptional.
We had an absolute lovely day. Our driver, Ross, told lots of stories, myths, and history about the things we passed. Ross is a brilliant storyteller, and you cannot help but get swept up in Scottish history. And the scenery and nature were, of course, marvelous too!
We did get to see the Jacobite, as Harry Potter fans we were so excited. We made a few stops along the way to use the toilets, buy some food and souvenirs.

Loved this tour of the beautiful Scottish Highlands! Was in awe of the Three Sisters of Glencoe especially. Thanks to Chris for a great tour. Listening to his stories about Scottish history was so interesting and really added to the immersion of it all. Definitely recommend!
