Saqqara is de grootste archeologische vindplaats in Egypte en bevat meer dan 10.000 graven en 16 piramides. Je krijgt de kans om de eerste versierde piramide van binnenuit te bezoeken voor koning Unas uit de vijfde dynastie. Gedurende de dag bezoek je ook de oude hoofdstad Memphis en Dahshur-piramides. De starttijd van de tour is flexibel, maar meestal begint de tour rond 08.00 uur, duurt zes tot acht uur en eindigt rond 16.00 uur. Deze privétour omvat het ophalen met onze voertuigen met airconditioning op de door u gewenste locatie en het afleveren op de door u gewenste locatie. Haal eerst op van de gevraagde locatie door uw gids om uw reis over de drie oude necropolissen te beginnen. De tour begint met een bezoek aan de Saqqara necropolis, waar u de Piramide van Djoser bezoekt. Deze piramide is het vroegste kolossale stenen gebouw ter wereld. Deze structuur is een fundamenteel onderdeel van de Egyptische geschiedenis, omdat andere piramiden erop gebaseerd waren met verbeteringen.
De oudste stenen structuur in de hele wereld is de trappiramide van koning Djoser dateert uit 2670 voor Christus. tombs around) Met je geavanceerde gids weet je veel meer over koning Djoser, zijn getalenteerde architect Imhotep en de nieuwe ontdekkingen in Saqqara. (Houd er rekening mee dat voor het betreden van de piramide of de zuidelijke tombe een speciaal ticket nodig is) de gids helpt u graag verder.
Na de lunch gaat de tour verder met een bezoek aan de piramides van Dahshur (rode en gebogen piramides), wat een enorme stap en leerervaring was voor de oude Egyptenaren om over te schakelen van stapzijdige piramides naar gladde piramides. Dahshur heeft meerdere piramides, maar de meest bekende zijn de rode en gebogen piramides en behoren tot de oudste, grootste en best bewaarde in Egypte, gebouwd tussen 2613-2589 voor Christus. (De tijd die op elke plaats wordt doorgebracht, is flexibel volgens de klanten)
Ook wel de noordelijke piramide genoemd, beschouwd als de eerste klassieker die in de oude Egyptische geschiedenis is gebouwd, we noemen het rood vanwege de roodachtige kalksteen die is gewonnen uit het Tura-gebergte in Caïro. mogelijkheid om de piramide gratis te betreden !!
Een uniek voorbeeld van vroege piramideontwikkeling in Egypte, dit was de tweede piramide gebouwd door Sneferu. beschouwd als de enige piramide in Egypte die nog steeds de buitenste laag heeft en nog steeds in goede staat is, krijgt u ook de kans om die piramide binnen te gaan, deze is nu van binnenuit open. (Als u claustrofobisch bent of lijdt aan een gezondheidsprobleem ga niet naar binnen) deze is erg uitdagend en je moet fit zijn.
Daarna gaat de tour verder met een bezoek aan de stad die ooit de oude hoofdstad van Egypte was, de stad Memphis. Deze stad heeft zowel het kolossale standbeeld van Ramses II als de grote albasten sfinx en veel ruïnes in de buurt. De stad Memphis was het machtscentrum van het oude koninkrijk (2686 v.Chr.) van het oude Egypte en de thuisbasis van de farao's die de piramides hebben gebouwd.
Speciaal museum voor het zeer beroemde standbeeld voor koning Ramses de grote 1279 voor Christus. Een enorm kalkstenen beeld in verbazingwekkende staat. Ramses de grote regeerde ongeveer 67 jaar over het Egyptische rijk.
De Sfinx van Memphis is een stenen sfinx in de buurt van de overblijfselen van Memphis, Egypte. Het beeld gemaakt van Egyptisch albast, nog steeds in zeer goede staat, kan de zeer beroemde koningin Hatshepsut 1479 v.Chr. voorstellen. dan begint u aan uw reis terug naar uw hotel.

I took the tour with a Spanish-speaking guide (Mona). Flawless, punctual, vehicle with air conditioning, a guide with great knowledge and kindness. The driver was very kind and willing. The guide was strategic in visiting the sites before they filled up with other tourists. Excellent time management. The conversation with her was fantastic. The visit to Saqqara and the Dashur pyramids are essential archaeological stops for any tourist in Giza. Totally recommended.

I had a wonderful day with Ibrahim Allam (guide) and Sameer (driver) visiting Saqqara, Dashur and the Memphis open-air museum. The key stops included Djoser's Step Pyramid complex (including going inside the pyramid- definitely do this), the Pyramid of Unas (with its extensive wall texts, the oldest religious literature in history), the pyramids at Dashur (precursor to the Giza pyramids) and the open-air museum at Memphis. Ibrahim was an amazing guide — so friendly, thoughtful and insightful, never rushing me along. I truly appreciated both the historical explanation and being given the time to take in the landscape and the monuments. It was a very memorable experience, both in terms of everything I learned and also just being able to enjoy the peaceful desert environment of Saqqara and Dashur in the less tourist-crowded season. The visit to the open-air museum at Memphis was also a real treat, given the critical importance of Memphis to many eras of Egyptian history (especially its inception but at many other periods as well). Overall, a very pleasant and meaningful day. Highly recommended!

We pre-booked our trip before we left the UK. Sahar Alsherif was our guide. Sahar was incredible. Sahar is an Egyptologies who is passionate about her work and very knowledgeable. We visited all three sites on the trip and had plenty of time to look around and see the amazing sites. I would recommend if you are thinking of doing the sights of Egyptat starting at saqqara because that is the first Dynasty and it gives you an understanding then for the the Egyptian dynasties. We went inside saqqara and bent pyramid. It's a long climb up and down up worth it. Not only did Sahara act as our guide but she also stopped at the local shop to buy water for us and introduced us to some of the amazing soda drinks that you can get in Egypt. We follow the Next Day by doing the Gaza pyramids in the morning and then going to do the museum in the afternoon.
