Ooit was het de rijkste abdij van Engeland, maar de abdijruïnes van Glastonbury zijn nog steeds een prachtige weergave van de invloed van Glastonbury Abbots en hun omgeving. Het is ook de vermeende begraafplaats van koning Arthur.

Peter picked us up from Southampton as soon as we disembarked our Oceania Cruise. We went strait to Stonehenge and Peter gave us the most memorable, informative tour of Stonehenge and it's surrounding areas. Peter brought Stonehenge to life! Peter's knowledge of history and culture of England is impressive. We stopped at a charming pub for a traditional Sunday Roast (best ever) then headed to Salisbury Cathedral to see the Magna Carta. I could go on and on but will stop here and say if you are looking for a quality tour that will exceed your expectations reach out to Tailored Tours!
Our tour guide, Christian, was amazing! He was incredibly knowledgeable and very pleasant to listen to. If you have a choice of tour guides, I highly recommend you choose Christian. Outstanding!!!

It was a great journey, First we went to stonehenge, an overwhealming place, full of history and then to the Glastonbury tor, where we made a walk to the hill. Our guide Will brougth us many information about the sites and answered all our questions. He was very nice and friendly!

This tour was fabulous. We had flexibility to adjust our schedule to our needs and interests and were able to spend quality time at each site. Oz was our tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and presented facts and stories in a way that was easy to understand. This is THE best tour that we have ever done. Do not hesitate to book!
Stonehenge and Glastonbury are definitely must see destinations. The roadtrips to and from the sites were comfortable and safe. Our tour guide, Oz, was very knowledgeable not only about the background and history of Stonehenge and Glastonbury but also of the places we passed along the way. What could have been a perfect experience however ended with a disappointment when our tour guide decided not to drop us at our hotel invoking a myriad of excuses forcing us to take an Uber.
