Privérondleiding - zodra een boeking onmiddellijk is bevestigd, zijn klanten de enige toeristen in het voertuig voor die dag. Proef in totaal 15 eersteklas wijnen op wijngaarden naar keuze of de gids zal een rondleiding op maat maken voor uw wijnsmaak - maximale flexibiliteit (voor eigen rekening). Wijngaarden hebben verschillende proefopties, van de dagelijkse drinkwijn tot de meest superieure wijnen - zelfs combinaties van kaas en wijn zijn mogelijk. Spectaculaire bergrit onderweg naar Franschhoek en stop vele malen voor foto's Ervaar stadsrondleidingen in Stellenbosch, Franschhoek en Paarl (afhankelijk van de tijd) Een uitstekende gelegenheid voor niet-proevers om bezienswaardigheden te bekijken in de wijnlanden. Als u meer bezienswaardigheden wilt zien, zal uw gids de rondreis ter plekke op maat maken en meer wijngaarden bezoeken vanwege de landschappelijke schoonheid, inclusief ritten door bergen en valleien.

Best way to taste wines. Our driver picked us up right on time, whisked us away to wine country and straight to our first tasting. We had tried a small group tour previously and spent an hour before and after getting everyone. A private tour is the only way to go. The first tasting was good but in no way did it prepare us for the second one. When we walked into the second tasting the view took our breath away. The whole back of the room opened to a gorgeous view of the mountains and vineyards. The second tasting accompanied the wines with cheese and crackers. The cheese was grated in a special way making it look like lettuce. We loved it. When we were ready to go we went through a town and stopped at a park where we had a picnic with a goodie bag of dried fruit, breads and meat packed for us by our hotel. It was an idyllic way to top of the day. As we had already sampled 12 wines we requested that our driver skip going to the 3rd tasting. On the way back to Cape Town we stopped by the maximum security prison where Nelson Madela was released. Took pictures of the life-size statue in his memory. It was an absolutely perfect day.

From the moment our friendly knowledgeable guide Tonya collected us we felt we were in for great day. The first winery we visited was a great treat. Stellenbosch was beautiful and lunch was at a wonderful restaurant with panoramic views over Franschenhoek. Overall a fantastic excursion.
