Our guide Mark is so informative from English’s history to the Cambridge. He introduced the history, founder, and famous scientists of prestigious colleague. We enjoys a great tour with Mark!
Very interesting visit with our guide. Mark is very friendly and passionate! It was a pleasure to discover Cambridge with him.
We were fortunate enough to have Mark as our guide for a private two-hour walking tour, and he was absolutely wonderful! As a Cambridge alumnus with a PhD in History, Mark was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many fascinating insights, but what truly made the experience special was the warm, engaging, and lighthearted way he brought everything to life. Our group ranged from grandparents in their 70s to a five-year-old child, and Mark somehow managed to keep everyone interested and involved throughout the entire tour. He did far more than simply share facts,he connected with each person and made the experience enjoyable and memorable for all of us. The most meaningful moment came when Mark helped my father, who attended Cambridge and was a member of Trinity College in the 1960s, return to the college and see it up close again. It meant more to him than we can express. He could not stop talking about it afterward, and it is a memory he will treasure forever. Thank you, Mark, for such an unforgettable experience and for going above and beyond for our family. Even our ten-year-old left saying she now wants to attend Cambridge one day! This was a 5 star tour!
We had an absolutely fantastic free walking tour of Cambridge with Anna. She was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the city’s history, sharing fascinating stories and hidden details .Anna has a wonderful way of bringing Cambridge to life with her enthusiasm, humour, and clear explanations. The tour was full of interesting facts about the university, its traditions, famous alumni, and the city’s beauty.
Mark is knowledgeable, passionate and has a great sense of humour. He explained each location and the historic figures associated to it well. He personalised the tour and made us laugh a lot. Its quite a bit of a walk and time spent on learning - so be prepared!
Mark was amazing!! Excellent sense of humour and impressive knowledge on a variety of history. Really recommend.
So grateful to have done this tour with Mark. He was a 5* legend, the witty banter made the tour more enjoyable and memorable. Showed us many hidden gems and told us stories behind many overlooked sites. Was especially nice to hear about the history of women in Cambridge. Cannot recommend enough!
We had a wonderful time on our Cambridge walking tour with Rita. As a current PhD student, she provided a phenomenal insider's perspective on the university's unique college system. It was especially helpful to hear her breakdown of the admissions process and listen to her own personal experiences navigating it. She was incredibly engaging and more than happy to answer all of our questions with comprehensive, thoughtful information. I shouldn't forget to mention a lot of Cambridge's history and funny facts as well. Highly recommend!
Young student, himself from Cambridge, knew a lot about the history of Cambridge but also about modern Cambridge. Took us around various universities and gave ample opportunity to ask questions. We had a private tour because there were no others. Became much wiser about the ins and outs of the students’ graduations and their history.
Solomon was a very engaging guide. A student of Cambridge University, he was able to tell us some interesting facts and anecdotes about the famous town. Highly recommended tour!
