Een wandeling naar de Tafelberg is een geweldig avontuur dat u niet mag missen tijdens uw verblijf in Kaapstad. De berg is ruim 1000 meter boven zeeniveau en biedt een prachtig uitzichten op de omringende stad, de oceaan en bergketens. Een ervaren wandel- en natuurgids geeft u meer inzicht in de wonderen van het Cape Floral Kingdom en de natuurlijke historie van de berg. Verschillende wandelroutes worden aangeboden en aangepast aan de conditie en voorkeuren van de klanten.

AWOL Tours staff were very attentive to our wishes and helped us to work out an itinerary to suit us and our needs as experienced hillwalkers (unlike another hiking tour operator who treated me with utter disrespect as if I were completely clueless!). While the package was not cheap, it was all-inclusive and that means ALL: transport from our accommodation and back, picnic lunch and snacks, and all water. All this plus the luxury of not being responsible for navigation made it very relaxing and worth the cost. Our guide Carmen was friendly and responsive and quietly professional. A grand day out.

A great day with Mike hiking up & down Table Mountain on the India Venster route. It was slightly more technical than I expected & had to be helped up a couple of parts by Mike, but all very enjoyable & great views. A nice lunch was provided. Many thanks Mike.

Despite the chilly, cloudy weather, we had an amazing time with Bradley as our guide up Table Mountain. He was a joy to spend the day with — full of knowledge, great stories, and easy conversation. He kept us smiling, safe, and well-fed with local snacks, lunch, and plenty of water. We never felt rushed; he walked completely at our pace and made sure we felt comfortable the whole way. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide — highly recommend!

My wife and I were visiting Cape Town for our honeymoon and we used AWOL for a private hiking tour of Lion's Head Peak. Our tour guide, Bradley C, was kind, welcoming, provided a lot of detail on the area. He was understanding and encouraging during one of the more intimidating portions of the hike, talking my wife through that section. We had an amazing experience overall and would recommend it to anyone looking for a semi-challenging hike with a great view at the top!

Communication and organisation from AWOL was excellent. Our hiking guide Kieron was super friendly and so knowledgeable. We hiked the Twelve Apostles route and it was challenging but beautiful. Would absolutely recommend AWOL.

I only had a short time to visit Cape Town and decided to schedule a private hike of Table Mountain with AWOL Tours. It was absolutely worth it!! The views were incredible and Bradley was an AMAZING tour guide! We discussed at the start of the hike which route I would prefer—with his advice, we ended up hiking Kasteelspoort and I had a blast! The views were incredible and he was very patient. I truly appreciated all the little details, from the pickup/drop off at my hotel to the snacks and lunch. Although the hike got a little bit difficult at times (some steep inclines/ladders), Bradley was very knowledgeable and helped me around. I felt safe the whole time! Would highly recommend this tour!
