Dit is een van de excursies die je de mogelijkheid geeft om binnen 1 uur vanaf 2800 meter van landschap, uitzicht en weer te veranderen. tot 4784 meter. Als je niet te ver van Quito wilt gaan, is dit een fantastische manier om te genieten van de Andes-parken en de bergen te bewonderen, en ook de beste plek voor foto's boven de stad.

Today we had the most wonderful experience hiking all the way up from the teleferico to the summit of Rucu Pichincha. I can only say amazing things of our guide Leonardo Guerrero. He was on time for our hotel pickup, he safely drove us to the teleferico and got us started on the hike (not before warming up to avoid injuries!). He was knowledgeable of the area as well as local trees and animals and promptly answered all my questions. He was very kind and help me climb up when the trail required rock climbing. We had arrived in Quito just a few hours before in the middle of the night due to a flight delay, nevertheless Leonardo set a pace that we could follow despite the lack of sleep and acclimatization. I would strongly recommend working with Leonardo as he has experience with city tour as well behind hiking. Thank you Leonardo for a first lovely day in Quito!
