A big thank you to Diana for being such a fantastic guide. She was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable from start to finish. The wine tasting was a real highlight — the locations were well chosen, the atmosphere was great, and we never felt rushed. Everything was well organized yet still felt very personal.
This town felt even more authentic and full of soul compared to Paris. The tour was well-organized, engaging, and made us appreciate the experience so much more. We realized that having a guide makes all the difference in how you connect with a place. And for food lovers – the Alsacien pizza is a must-try!
This tour was the highlight of our stay in Strasbourg. Irina was very kind and knowledgeable, and gave us all the necessary information about the city for our later stay. I strongly advise against booking with this company. My experience with Tour Up In Europe, the operators of the Strasbourg tour, was extremely disappointing. Due to flight delays, my flight to Strasbourg was delayed by over six hours, and my luggage was lost in transit. While I did not expect a refund, I reached out to the company requesting a credit for the tour amount to use in the future. Unfortunately, since I was only in Strasbourg for one day, rescheduling wasn’t an option. To my surprise, Tour Up In Europe refused to offer a credit. Instead, they proposed a 15% discount on future bookings exceeding 1,000 euros—an offer completely impractical for a solo traveler like me. The tour I originally booked was $248, making this policy feel less like customer service and more like a “money grab” aimed at forcing me into an expensive future booking or forfeiting my payment entirely. This lack of flexibility and customer care left me feeling cheated. Tour Up In Europe’s approach shows that they do not value their customers’ time or money. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this company and strongly urge travelers to consider other tour operators who prioritize their clients' satisfaction.
Already, we provide tours for 2+ travellers. You are a solo traveller, and I have no idea how the platform let you book it – it was clearly a bug. But we accepted your booking, agreed, and even customised it for you. Then you wanted more. Your review is misleading and unfair. You booked via Viator, which takes a 30% commission, leaving us with €160 from your booking. The 15% discount we offered on a future €1000 booking is exactly the equivalent of what we would have earned from your tour. Despite your flight delay being outside our control, we worked to accommodate your situation. Our guide was ready, and we spent time addressing your concerns without extra payment. We pride ourselves on exceptional service, as shown by countless satisfied clients. This is a good example of when you give a finger, and they take the whole arm. Your delay was unfortunate, but blaming us for it is unjust.
We had the most romantic time during our trip to France. The guide told us all about the history of the city and then gave us the list of the best restaurants to go. The hot chocolate was delicious
This was the perfect getaway to r a couple of days from Paris! We absolutely loved it. Strasbourg is a real wonder if you want to get your Christmas mood on! We recommend this company for this experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable.
