Vergezel ons voor deze halve dagtour door Westminster, met beroemde bezienswaardigheden zoals Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, The Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square en meer. Je tour is ontworpen om de hoogtepunten te dekken; het is echter altijd mogelijk om te stoppen en naar iets te kijken dat uw interesse heeft gewekt. Je kunt genieten van boeiende verhalen over het verleden en het heden van de Koninklijke familie, terwijl je enkele van de meest herkenbare bezienswaardigheden in de wereld bewondert. De tour begint op het door u gekozen tijdstip, uw gids zal u ontmoeten in de winkel in Westminster Abbey. Vanaf de abdij van Westminster gebruikte de kerk vele koninklijke bruiloften, kroningen en begrafenissen. Als u zich buiten de kerk verplaatst, krijgt u een idee van de omvang van dit prachtige gebouw. Duizenden mensen worden hier begraven, van middeleeuwse monarchen tot moderne wetenschappers. Uw gids helpt u graag bij het raden van sommige van hun namen. De beroemde bezienswaardigheden rond Westminster zijn allemaal erg dichtbij.
De weg oversteken, Parliament Square onthult zichzelf volledig, compleet met standbeelden van vele beroemde staatslieden. Om niet te worden overtroffen, kruipen The Houses of Parliament en Big Ben in zicht terwijl we ons een weg banen rond het plein.
Maar welk deel is Big Ben? Naar wie werd het vernoemd? Doe met ons mee om erachter te komen. Wandelend vanaf Parliament Square via verborgen steegjes, kunnen we de lokale architectuur bewonderen op weg naar het hoofdgebouw, het Buckingham Palace.
Kun je herkennen of Hare Majesteit thuis is? Buckingham Palace komt soms samen met het wisselen van de bewakers. Tijdens bepaalde dagen en mooi weer kunnen we ons aansluiten bij de regimenten die van hun kazerne naar het paleis marcheren. Als de guard-wijziging is geannuleerd, raak dan niet in paniek! Dit is Londen, er is altijd tijd voor traditionele praal.
De paardenwachten zijn net om de hoek, ze worden elke dag geïnspecteerd, regen of zonneschijn.
Wandelen in The Mall biedt een zeer vorstelijke sfeer en is ook een geweldige plek voor spectaculaire foto's. Misschien is één paleis niet genoeg? St James's Palace wacht dichtbij en biedt meer verhalen over de koninklijke familie. Misschien wil je zien waar Hare Majesteit haar hoeden voor koopt? Als we door St. James's Street browsen, kunnen we met de Royal Warrant alle winkels verkennen.
Als je genoeg hebt van de Royals, laten we dan stoppen bij St James's Park, een prachtig gebied van rust in het midden van de stad. Dit is ook een geweldige gelegenheid om wat lokale dieren in het wild te spotten, met een enorme verscheidenheid aan vogels en eekhoorns die dit park naar huis bellen.
Eindelijk trekken we richting het hart van West End, Piccadilly. Nu omringd door theaters, winkels en restaurants, kunt u misschien wat inspiratie opdoen voor hoe u de avond doorbrengt?
De tour eindigt op Trafalgar Square, midden in het centrum van Londen, zodat je tijd hebt om je reis langs enkele van 's werelds meest iconische bezienswaardigheden te bekijken. Soms loopt de tour in een andere volgorde om je kansen om de bewaker te veranderen te maximaliseren, maar we zullen nog steeds alle hierboven genoemde plaatsen behandelen.

As a family of 9 we had the most wonderful experience this past week in London touring with Denisa. She was warm, engaging, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. She took time to start her day very early so that she could insure that we would know how to use the Tube and get to our destinations. We learned so much history and important facts about London. Denisa found a way to engage both adults and children and maintain our interest for hours. Prior to the trip Denisa provided so many wonderful recommendations for restaurants, evening activities and was so attentive and responsive to the many times I contacted her. My hope is that I can find family and friends who travel to London and encourage them to utilize her service and expertise so they too can have the fabulous experience we had on our private tour. On a scale of 1-10 Denisa gets 11!

Our family group met our guide in Westminster Abbey, before setting off on a busy walk around many sights of London. Our guide was able to answer our many questions and had great knowledge of the history attached to the various sights. It was quite an energetic walk but we all enjoyed it and found it well worthwhile.
