Ga buiten de gebaande paden en bezoek de traditionele stad Maras, waar u uw wandeling naar de zoutterrassen van Maras begint (ongeveer 1 uur). Bewonder onderweg de met sneeuw bedekte Andes-bergen en wees getuige van het echte plattelandsleven van Cusco. Tijdens de Inca-tijden werd het zout (dat trouwens genezende eigenschappen heeft!) gewonnen uit de Maras-mijnen en dezelfde methode wordt vandaag nog steeds gebruikt.
Met het voertuig ga je verder naar de gemeenschap van Misminay vanwaar je begint met een wandeling naar een uitkijkpunt op de terrassen van Moray. Omgeven door een indrukwekkend decor van met sneeuw bedekte bergen, diende Moray als een landbouwlaboratorium in de open lucht voor het aanpassen van gewassen aan verschillende omgevingsomstandigheden.
Nadat je hebt genoten van het indrukwekkende uitzicht op Moray, ga je terug naar de gemeenschap van Misminay, waar de dames je zullen verwelkomen. Geniet van een gezonde en heerlijke maaltijd bereid door de dames van de gemeenschap terwijl je verhalen met hen uitwisselt. Je veelbewogen dag eindigt met een transfer terug naar je hotel in Cusco of de Heilige Vallei.

Our guide Yossimar is very professional,arriving on time, he speaks fluent English. He is very knowledgeable about the history of every site, always patiently explained site information and answer our questions. We also join the half day tour at Ollantaytambo with Yossimar, we enjoyed that tour as well.
