Aït Benhaddou dateert uit de 11e eeuw en is de beroemdste Kasbah in Marokko en staat nu op de werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO. Het was een belangrijk onderdeel van de oude handelsroute over de Hoge Atlas tussen Marrakech, Ouarzazate en de Sahara. Dichtbij de top van de Tizi-n-Tichka-pas op 2260m zijn er geweldige panoramische uitzichten over de bergen en de kronkelende N9-weg. Deze locatie, door UNESCO uitgeroepen tot werelderfgoed, in de provincie Ouarzazate, is gebruikt als achtergrond voor verschillende films en is een waardevolle stop voor fotoliefhebbers. Verderop is de Kasbah van Tawrirt. Het geeft absoluut een achtergrond over eerdere films die in het gebied zijn geproduceerd.

Zorg dat je om 7.00 uur in de lobby bent. Uw chauffeur zou daar voor u klaar moeten staan. Daar ben je om de tour met ons te maken. Als u door de lengte van het Atlasgebergte gaat op de kronkelende en hobbelige Tishka-pas, moeten er stops worden gemaakt zodat u foto's kunt maken op schilderachtige locaties. Daarna wordt u naar het ansichtkaart-perfecte dorp Ait Benhaddou gebracht. Je moet er rond 12.00 uur zijn.
Bij aankomst wordt u voorgesteld aan uw lokale gids. Lunch in een restaurant naar keuze. (houd er rekening mee dat zowel uw gids als de lunch niet zijn inbegrepen bij de tour van vandaag). Vertel uw gids waar u besluit te eten, want na uw maaltijd komt hij u ophalen en geeft hij u een rondleiding door het dorp.
Eenmaal klaar met de sites in Ait Benhaddou. U wordt via een rit van 45 minuten naar de stad Ouarzazate gebracht. Bij aankomst. Je hebt de tijd om de stad te verkennen, met name Kasbah Tawrirt. We gaan op weg voor de studio die niet bij de tour van vandaag is inbegrepen). wanneer de rondleidingen eindigen Je zou rond 19.00 uur terug moeten zijn in je hotel in Marrakech.

Our private tour with Abdel to Aït Benhaddou, Atlas Studios, and Ouarzazate via the Atlas Mountains was exceptional and easily one of the highlights of our time in Morocco. From the moment we were picked up, everything felt effortless. The car was spotlessly clean, modern, and extremely comfortable, making the long and scenic drive through the Atlas Mountains genuinely enjoyable. We booked daily trip to Essaouira, 1st day we were waiting for the driver for 20 minutes, it may be communication issue, 2nd daily trip to Ouarzazate, we have great times.

Wonderful trip! Our driver Ayub picked us up from our hotel. He is an excellent driver especially on the windy roads and took time to show us sites on the way and answered all our questions. We were met by our guide Hassan in Ait Ben Haddou and he was excellent. He is very knowlegable and took us around the site. We had lunch at a hotel which over looked Ait Ben Haddou and the food there was delicious. We didn't have time to tour Studio but were able to see the Kasbah. Would highly recomment this to anyone!

We had an amazing trip to Ouarzazate with Ayoub. He was an amazing guide and very well spoken. He made sure out trip was comfortable and we made frequent stops to enjoy the view of the winding roads of the mountain. Ayoub also made sure that important landmarks were also covered during the trip and he explained the rich culture and heritage of Marrakech.
