Haal je op bij je hotel in Caïro met een modern voertuig met airconditioning naar het treinstation van Gizeh, waar je aan boord gaat van de slaaptrein naar Luxor. Het diner en ontbijt worden aan boord geserveerd - overnacht in je coupé Maaltijden: Diner
Ontdek de grootsheid van de oude farao's door hun legendarische tempels in Luxor te bezoeken. Je wordt op het station van Luxor opgewacht door onze vertegenwoordiger, waarna je een zalige dagtour hebt die begint bij de Karnak-tempel, het grootste voorbeeld van aanbidding in de geschiedenis, opgedragen aan de God Amon, zijn vrouw Mut en hun zoon Khonsu, en betaal vervolgens een bezoek aan de tempel van Luxor om de binnenplaats en de granieten status van Ramses de grote te zien, waar je de Avenue of sfinxes zult zien
Breng dan een bezoek aan Vallei der Koningen, met de meesterwerken van de oude Egyptische graven. Ga dan naar de Tempel van Koningin Hatshepsut, de enige faraonische vrouw die het oude Egypte regeerde. I have just returned from a tour to Luxor from Cairo with 2 nights on the train, 1 night in a hotel and 2 full days visiting the temples and tombs in the Luxor area. The guide, Eslam was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and brought to life the stories of the gods and goddesses& explained about the relevant different kings of Egypt. He is very personable and made sure that everything ran smoothly. The two days were very busy but informative and enjoyable. The lunch on both days was very good. The hotel was in a great position, right beside the Nile. The breakfast was excellent and there is a choice of places to eat within the hotel. The hotel staff were all pleasant and helpful. The driver, Mahmoud was friendly and made sure that we arrived safely at all the places on our itinerary. Abdullah, the assistant in Luxor, and Hamad, the assistant in Cairo did a great job of coordination between the train and the tour. Abdullah arranged a horse and carriage ride in Luxor for after the tour which was most enjoyable and he looked after me well when there was a long delay with the train. Hamad kept in touch to help me find the right station to get off in the morning which I really appreciated. There was a delay of about an hour going and 3 hours on the return. It’s almost impossible to find out any information about what’s happening on the rail system so I was very glad of Hamad and Abdullah’s help. The train ride is quite an experience but I would have found these details useful. On the train, it is a seat and not a bunk for the night. The seats do recline but the lights stay fully on all night, so a sleep mask and earplugs for the noise are very useful. The toilets facilities are poor. There is a limited trolley service. The tour overall was excellent. I saw and learned so much. Thank you so much to all the guys who made it all go so well.

The person who led us and organized the trip Reham has been very professional, pending throughout the trip that everything was to our liking, very happy with her. During the stay we were with a Magnificent guide, Omar Saleh , professional, attentive and very polite, made it all easy for us.
Mahmoud Emam ( our guide) and Abdul (our driver) were both amazing. We got to see everything we wanted to and he was a great photographer! He is honest, knowledgeable and you really feel comfortable with him as your guide. We were never ever pressured to purchase anything which was very nice.
