Ga op een unieke reis naar de piramides van Gizeh met onze Gids ter plaatse. Het hoogtepunt van de tour is een bezoek aan de iconische Grote Piramide van Cheops, de grootste piramide van Egypte. Bewonder de indrukwekkende architectuur, leer over de geheimen die verborgen liggen binnen de oude muren en stel je de grandeur voor van de farao's die binnen werden begraven. Vervolgens bezoek je de raadselachtige Grote Sfinx, een mythisch wezen met het lichaam van een leeuw en het hoofd van een mens. Dit iconische standbeeld staat al eeuwenlang op wacht bij de piramides. Tijdens de tour zal onze Gids ter plaatse u voorzien van diepgaande historische informatie, uw vragen beantwoorden en uw veiligheid en plezier garanderen. Begint om 8:00 uur met ophalen bij je hotel in Caïro of Gizeh. Door gids en transfer naar de piramides van Gizeh om je tour van een halve dag te starten met een bezoek aan de piramides van Gizeh. Waar je de Grote Piramides bezoekt - Cheops, Chephren en Mykerinos
Het piramidecomplex van Khufu bestaat uit een valleitempel, nu begraven onder het dorp Nazlet el-Samman; er zijn diabase-bestrating en nummulitische kalkstenen muren gevonden, maar de locatie is niet opgegraven. Het kaartje voor het gebied is inbegrepen, maar binnen een van de piramides is dat niet inbegrepen
Het piramidecomplex van Menkaure bestaat uit een valleitempel, een verhoogde weg, een dodentempel en de koningspiramide. De valleitempel bevatte ooit verschillende standbeelden van Menkaure. Tijdens de 5e dynastie werd een kleinere voortempel toegevoegd aan de valleitempel
Het piramidecomplex van Khafre bestaat uit een valleitempel, de Sfinx-tempel, een verhoogde weg, een dodentempel en de koningspiramide. De valleitempel leverde verschillende beelden van Chefren op. Verschillende werden in 1860 door Mariette in een put in de vloer van de tempel gevonden
De Grote Sfinx ligt aan de oostkant van het complex. De huidige consensus onder egyptologen is dat het hoofd van de Grote Sfinx dat van Chefren is. Samen met deze grote monumenten zijn een aantal kleinere satellietgebouwen, bekend als "koninginnen" piramides, verhoogde wegen en valleipiramides. Our guide Osama was very kind and knowledgeable. He taught us a lot about the history of the pyramids and Egypt back when the pyramids were being built. Had an amazing day with guide Ayman Gabry and driver Hamda. They were waiting at the airport at 5:30am and we went right to the pyramids. It was almost completely empty which was great. Ayman was a wealth of knowledge and great photographer. Had a great camel ride as well. We went through the Egyptian museum and highly recommend the mummy room. Had a great lunch at Onion Rings. Then we toured through old Cairo and saw the hanging church, the cavern church and a synogogue. Finally since I had time to kill before my flight, they took me on a dinner cruise which was not prebooked and they stayed on a few hours after my original booking time. Great day and great city!

My guide was Mohamed Goda, a very polite and knowledgeable man, To start, he waited for me nearly 2 hours at the airport and during the whole tour he provided me with very good information about ancient AND current egypt. The tour captured all the promised viewpoints and they even offered me a camelride. As the layover was quite short, the made sure I was back at the airport on time.
