Montenegro is een klein land met uitzonderlijke natuurlijke schoonheid gecombineerd met een rijke geschiedenis en cultuur die velen graag willen weten. Van de kronkelende kust van de Adriatische Zee naar de prachtige stad Montenegro, kunt u deze 9 uur durende privétour maken. U reist comfortabel in een luxe auto met een Engels sprekende chauffeur. Je bezoekt eerst Budva, dan Perast en tenslotte Kotor. Eenmaal in Kotor heb je een 90 minuten durende Gids tour met een lokale gids die je de belangrijkste monumenten en plekken van de stad laat zien. Na de tour heb je wat vrije tijd om door de stad te dwalen en iets te eten voordat je terugkeert naar je hotel in Dubrovnik.

We were a party of 4 doing a day trip to Montenegro from Dubrovnik. Our communication with Patricio was easy and we adjusted our departure time to accommodate increased processing times at the border in 2026. Our driver/guide was Julija who is truly one of the best guides we have encountered anywhere in the world. Her knowledge and enthusiasm is exceptional. We appreciated her use of maps to explain the history of the whole region from centuries past right through to the present. She had personal experience of the Homeland war in the 1990s and those insights were invaluable. For the tour we went to Perast and Kotor. In Perast we did a boat tour to a small island and looked inside the church & museum there. Julija had given us a good understanding of what to look for and the background history which greatly improved our appreciation of what we were seeing. In Kotor we had a local guide, Petra who is a proud Montenegran and was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed her walking tour of the very beautiful old town of Kotor. On our way back to Dubrovnik we went to a wonderful local winery, Botaro and tasted their wines and had a lovely chat with Matea, the wine maker. Her wines are delicious and it was great to have a chance to experience local producers.
