Voor iedereen die Dubrovnik bezoekt, is een privétour van Dubrovnik naar het betoverende, historische land Montenegro een must. Boek onze begeleide privétour van Dubrovnik naar Montenegro met een gids voor een privéchauffeur en een comfortabel voertuig. Begin met het ophalen van de plaats van uw accommodatie in Dubrovnik. Vervolgens maken we een mooie rit langs de zuidelijke Dalmatische kust. Nadat u de grens bent overgestoken, rijdt u langs de kustwegen, die baai na baai kronkelen. Grote bergen met sneeuwtoppen. We beginnen onze tour vanuit Dubrovnik en rijden naar het zuiden langs de Adriatische kust langs de stad Cavtat en de regio Konavle en al snel steken we de grens over naar Montenegro.
Na de grensovergang vervolgen we onze rit langs de spectaculaire kust van Montenegro langs de stad Igalo en Herceg Novi (twee grote Turkse en Venetiaanse forten), Bijela, Kamenari en pauzeren voor een fotostop bij Verige landengte Panoramisch uitzichtpunt van het magische Perast en twee kleine eilanden St George en Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van de Rotsen. Je hebt tijd voor een koffiepauze, om je benen te strekken en de schoonheid van de baai van Kotor te bewonderen.
Na de stop bij het panoramische uitkijkpunt Verige vervolgen we onze rit langs de Kotor-baai langs het charmante stadje Risan en stoppen we bij Perast, gelegen onder de St. Elijah-heuvel. De gids wijst op belangrijke gebouwen (Bezoek de barokke parochiekerk St. Nicolas) en legt de reikwijdtegeschiedenis uit. OPTIONEEL bezoek per boot kunstmatig eiland Our Lady of the Rocks en prachtige 16kt barokke kerk en museum (boottocht 10 € per persoon).
Eindelijk bereiken we onze belangrijkste bestemming, de UNESCO-stad Kotor genesteld op de bodem van de Kotor-baai en omringd door formidabele verticalen van naburige bergen. Onze gasten kunnen lunchen in de oude stad van Kotor of op de terugweg in de baai van Morinj in een afgelegen familiebedrijf Tavern (250 jaar oud met verticale achtergrond en koude bronnen).
Na Kotor vervolgen we onze rit naar de Trojica-berg langs het meest indrukwekkende uitkijkpunt in Montenegro met uitzicht op de Kotor en het binnenste deel van de baai van Kotor van bovenaf. Genieten van je laatste traktatie - uitzicht op de baai van Kotor, we beginnen onze reis terug naar Dubrovnik langs Sienische kustwegen en gaan verder naar een van de 2 grenzen met Kroatië (de chauffeur probeert altijd degene te kiezen met het minste verkeer). Nadat we de grens zijn gepasseerd, hebben we ongeveer 55 minuten tot uw hotel in Dubrovnik.

We had a great time with Filip today. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating to our needs. Despite the heat we had a great time and enjoyed Montenegro.
Our private day trip through Montenegro was nothing short of magical and was easily one of the highlights of our travels. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, making the entire experience feel effortless, intimate, and unforgettable. One of the highlights was exploring the ancient town of Kotor with our wonderful local guide, Evo. His incredible knowledge of Kotor's rich history, captivating storytelling, and genuine passion for his hometown brought every cobblestone street and hidden corner to life. It felt like we were discovering the true heart of Montenegro through the eyes of a local. We then visited the charming seaside town of Perast, where we enjoyed a peaceful walk on a beautiful island with its stunning church and breathtaking views of the Bay of Kotor. The atmosphere was incredibly romantic and serene—a place where time seems to stand still. Lunch at Ćatovića Mlini was an experience in itself. Nestled in a picturesque setting surrounded by flowing water, lush greenery, ducks gliding through the streams, birds singing overhead, and bees drifting through the flowers, it was pure tranquility. The fresh seafood was outstanding, and every bite was complemented by the spectacular scenery. What truly made this day exceptional was our tour guide, Filip. From start to finish, he was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, warm, and genuinely enthusiastic about sharing the beauty and history of Montenegro. His passion for his country was infectious, and he made every stop meaningful, personal, and memorable. He anticipated every need and ensured we were comfortable throughout the journey. We had an excellent day trip from Dubrovnik to Montenegro with Filip. He was professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience seamless from start to finish. Filip shared interesting information about the region, history, and local culture, while also giving us plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful scenery and charming towns at our own pace. His friendly personality, attention to detail, and excellent organization made the trip both relaxing and memorable. Montenegro is absolutely stunning, and having Filip as our guide made the experience even better. He even took us for a delicious lunch to a property with several centuries of history. Our Driver Phillip was prompt for our early morning pick up. He was an excellent driver and provided us with a ton of history along the way with funny banter in between. The Coffee/breakfast stop was amazing and our lunch was one of the best restaurants we have enjoyed during our trip to Croatia. The Montenegro tour was provided by one of the most delightful gentlemen that had grown up in the area and the mid evil village was incredible. Overall we loved the trip and had a wonderful day. We highly recommend.
This was a fabulous excursion from start to finish! Filip is an excellent and very knowledgeable guide! He is also a very safe driver- super important on narrow roads! We left town early to miss traffic and stopped at the most fabulous restaurant for breakfast. The food was delicious and my iced coffee perhaps one of the best I’ve had. However the real highlight were the breathtaking views of Montenegro. We were on the water with beautiful, imposing mountains on either side. It was amazing. We continued on to Kotor, an interesting UNESCO site, though not as well restored as Dubrovnik, it still had an impressive history and beautiful churches and buildings in a walled medieval city. The guide in the town was a lovely gentleman who gave us a great tour. After time touring the city and some free time, we drove for lunch to a fabulous, family run restaurant on an impressive piece of land. There are rivers, a bamboo lined entrance with lime, pomegranate and Olive trees around the front of this spectacular, peaceful and lush property. You can enjoy your meal at an outdoor table by the river or inside in the cozy interior. The food is delicious! My family loved the salt prepared fish and the non-fish esters had a rich pasta carbonara with a fresh salad. Everything was great. Then we headed back to Dubrovnik with more amazing views of the bay and mountains! All in all a great day!! Montenegro is beautiful! I highly recommend this day trip! If we come back we’ll definitely book with Filip again!!

Filip was a fabulous driver, very knowledgable, and extremely courteous. He pointed out important and scenic landmarks along the way and took us to lovely resting points for refreshments and food. He connected us with Evo, a native from Kotor who guided us through the city, and Marco who navigated us to our Lady of the Rocks. An incredible day.
