In deze onvergetelijke tour zullen we genieten van 3 beroemde Montenegrijnse attracties en verschillende Montenegrijnse regio's. Nationaal park Skadarmeer, St. Stefan-eiland en Milocer-park, de oude binnenstad van Kotor en de omgeving die op de UNESCO-lijst van cultureel erfgoed staat. Tijdens de rit zult u genieten van een spectaculair uitzicht op het grootste Balkanmeer - het Skadar-meer, de Montenegrijnse kust, de steden Budva, Kotor en Petrovac, evenals heuvels en bergen. U krijgt de gelegenheid om te genieten van visdelicatessen in enkele tavernes aan de kust of in het oude centrum van Kotor, om de beroemde Kotor-roomtaart of enkele van de beste Montenegrijnse wijnen te proeven.

Op slechts 20 minuten afstand van Podgorica ligt het Skadarmeer, het grootste meer op de Balkan, het gebied dat is uitgeroepen tot nationaal park, is opgenomen als Ramsar-wetland van internationaal belang, beroemd om zijn vogels (ongeveer 270 soorten), vissen, waterlelies, rijk cultureel erfgoed, charmante dorpjes en de beste Montenegrijnse wijn. We rijden rond het meer, maken een korte wandeling en genieten van het uitzicht vanaf mooie uitkijkpunten. Als optie kunnen we een prachtige boottocht van 1 uur maken tussen lelies en vogels.
Het eiland Saint Stefan is de thuisbasis van het beroemdste Montenegrijnse hotelresort en het is een van 's werelds meest unieke plekken. Er zit een grote geschiedenis achter dit eiland en een lange lijst van beroemde mensen die hun vakantie binnen de muren hebben doorgebracht. We zullen genieten van wandelen door het mooie park in de buurt van het eiland St. Stefan en het ontdekken van enkele van de mooiste stranden van Budva Riviera..
Na een plezierige rit van een half uur vanuit het uitkijkpunt Saint Stefan zijn we in het oude centrum van Kotor. Kotor is een echte parel van de Adriatische kust, met zijn prachtige muren die sinds 1979 op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staan en behoren tot de eerste 60 plaatsen ter wereld. Het is de stad waar ongeveer 50% van de Montenegrijnse culturele monumenten zich bevindt. We wandelen door de smalle straatjes, nemen een kijkje in de verborgen hoekjes, brengen een bezoek aan oude kerken en lopen, als je dat wenst, over de oude stadsmuren die door UNESCO worden beschermd als de stad zelf. Na de wandeling geniet u van een uur vrije tijd.

Three days after our tour, the memories are still incredibly vivid. We were so lucky to meet Nino, a guide who is genuinely passionate about his role and immensely proud of his homeland. Because this was a private tour, the rhythm was completely relaxing and gave us the flexibility to adjust our schedule on the fly. Nino made it possible for us to witness the breathtaking beauty of Montenegro in a short period of time. We had such an amazing experience that we immediately booked a second private tour with him to the north—which proved to be one of the best decisions of our trip! 😊 Nino is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly generous. We booked this Viator tour expecting to visit Kotor and Skadar Lake, but what we got was so much more. Our guide went above and beyond the original itinerary and brought us to Perast, Sveti Stefan, and Cetinje as well, turning the trip into a full Montenegro experience. Kotor was absolutely stunning, with its old town charm and dramatic mountain backdrop. Skadar Lake was peaceful and refreshing—a perfect contrast to the coastal stops. But the unexpected additions really made the trip special. Perast felt like a hidden gem, Sveti Stefan was picture-perfect, and Cetinje gave us a deeper glimpse into Montenegro’s history and culture. Everything was well-paced, and we never felt rushed despite covering so many beautiful places. Huge credit to our guide for making the experience seamless, informative, and genuinely enjoyable. If you’re considering this tour, just know you might get lucky and experience even more than what’s listed. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to see the highlights of Montenegro in a day!

Can’t say enough wonderful things about this tour. Nino picked up and dropped off at the airport, customized the tour to our liking. Nino was super knowledgeable, friendly, proud of his country, and showed us the best time. He even took us to a bar by the river and enjoyed a drink before dropping us off. We took a boat trip on Skadar Lake, which was great for bird watching. Sveti Stefan was beautiful. Kotor was magical. Really a picture perfect day in every way. Our guide, Nino, was so helpful at creating the best outing for us. I would highly recommend.
