Geniet van een dagvullende ervaring in Kaapstad, inclusief een boottocht op Robbeneiland en stops bij de Boulders Penguins Colony en Kaap de Goede Hoop. Deze tour omvat schilderachtige routes en pittoreske stops.

Je wordt tussen 07:00 en 08:00 uur opgehaald bij je hotel/accommodatie in Kaapstad (de tijd wordt de dag voor aanvang van de tour meegedeeld). Ontmoet uw gids bij de receptie / lobby van het hotel.
We reizen naar de Nelson Mandela Gateway naar Robbeneiland, waar u direct doorgaat naar de vertreklijn van de boot. Zodra je aan boord van de gedeelde boot bent gegaan, vaar je de open zee op naar Robbeneiland Museum. Bij uw aankomst stapt u van boord en wordt u in een bus begeleid door een lokale Robbeneiland-gids voor een rondleiding over het eiland. De gids geeft live commentaar over Robbeneiland en zijn geschiedenis. De rondleiding wordt afgesloten met een uitzicht op de gevangeniscel waar voormalig president Nelson Mandela als gevangene werd vastgehouden en een gelegenheid om in zijn historische voetsporen te wandelen op The Long March to Freedom. Zodra de rondreis over Robbeneiland is afgelopen, gaat u aan boord van de boot voor uw terugkeer naar het V&A Waterfront. De totale duur van de tour inclusief de boottochten is ongeveer 4 uur.
Na je Robbeneiland-ervaring ontmoet je de gids bij het uitstappen van de boot en reis je via de M3 naar de Boulders Penguins Colony. Bij aankomst bezoeken we de Afrikaanse pinguïns die te zien zijn vanaf de promenades die zich een weg banen door de duinen en dichte begroeiing. Misschien heb je zelfs het geluk om begroet te worden door een van deze betoverende zeedieren langs de promenade.
Daarna gaan we verder naar Kaap de Goede Hoop. Als we de hoofdpoort van Kaap de Goede Hoop binnenrijden, rijden we een klein stukje voordat we de twee navigatiebakens zien met kruisen bovenop elk: het Dias Cross en da Gama Cross. Deze monumenten werden gereconstrueerd om Vasco da Gama en Bartolomeu Dias te herdenken als ontdekkingsreizigers die als eersten de Kaap bereikten. Een bezoek aan Kaap de Goede Hoop is niet compleet zonder een foto achter het naambord van Kaap de Goede Hoop.
De meeste bezoekers van Kaap de Goede Hoop kiezen voor een korte wandeling naar de vuurtoren van Cape Point. U bent echter van harte welkom om de Flying Dutchman Funicular naar de vuurtoren te nemen. Kaappunt is het officiële ontmoetingspunt van de twee zeestromingen. Bavianen lijken misschien schattig, maar we raden aan om niet te dicht bij ze te komen, aangezien dit wilde dieren zijn en gevaarlijk kunnen worden.
Als we Kaappunt verlaten, reizen we door de M65 en passeren we Noordhoek Village, wat het beste is voor koffiestops, maar vanwege de tijd kan het gesloten zijn. We stoppen bij de beroemde Chapmans Peak-rit als deze operationeel is. Dit is absoluut een fotostop en we adviseren gasten om uit de buurt van de randen van de oprit te blijven, vooral bij winderig weer.
Daarna rijden we door Hout Bay, Camps Bay om te genieten van de schilderachtige route op de route om je af te zetten bij je hotel/accommodatie of gevraagde afzetpunt.

Wonderful experience with our Driver/Tour Guide: Mr. Talent. He's literally so talented: very friendly, kind and knowledgeable about the history of South Africa! It was great visiting the iconic Robben Island museum and having a guided tour of the place in a bus (the highlights were learning about the heartbreaking story of Robert Sobukwe; taking photos at the huge photoframe with Table Mountain in the background and buying a little painting of the island & fridge magnet as souvenirs) at a stop; and seeing the infamous limestone quarry at which political prisoners were subjected to 8 hours of daily hard labor. We were then handed over to a former inmate who spent 7years at the infamous jail. He narrated his harrowing ordeal and the tour culminated into visiting Nelson Mandela's jail cell: 466/64. The place has such huge historical, political and cultural significance on South Africa's past, present and future! We then sailed back to the Waterfront on the mighty Atlantic Ocean, and caught glimpses of Dolphins and Seals in the water. After, we drove across town to the Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope. What an honor it was to "walk in the footsteps" of the great Portuguese explorers: Vasco da Gama & Bartolomeu Dias, and hiking up the historic old Lighthouse (1860-1919). The icing on the cake was photo moments at the Cape of Good Hope (the furthest Southern point of the African continent and witnessing the point where the Atlantic & Indian oceans meet. A day I'll never forget! :)

I cannot express enough how AMAZING this tour was. It’s new, so if the one review is off putting to you, all I’ll say is - Be a leader and not a follower… Book it! Ray was a phenomenal guide. As this was the last activity I booked after putting my trip to Cape Town together, I really wish I booked all of our tours with them. Kasi Africa Tours offers an amazing variety of tours on their website. And if their team is as amazing as Ray is, I’m sure these reviews will skyrocket in no time. From beginning to end, the customer service I experienced when I reached out to Ray prior to booking was PHENOMENAL. He was very patient with me through the booking process and once we got to Cape Town, the experience in itself was amazing. Our day started with the Robben Island Tour, then we got lunch upon returning to the marina. Then it was off to Boulder’s Beach where we got to see some penguins and explore the beach ourselves a bit. Next, we headed to Cape of Good Hope. Upon the way we saw some animals (Baboons, Ostriches, etc). Ray stopped every time so we could get some videos and photos, and he even gave us some insight to the animals. When we got to Cape of Hope, we got to roam around and Ray even took some videos and pictures for us! Our scenic drive to Chapman’s peak was so beautiful. Ray gave us the history of the towns we were passing along the way and pointed out some of Cape Town’s treasures as well. The point of Chapman’s peak was gorgeous. We got so many photos and videos at our stop. It was truly an unforgettable experience. Kasi Africa Tours also offers transportation services. So, we luckily got to see our friend Ray again when he took us to our safari. I would HIGHLY recommend them if you’re in Cape Town or visiting for the first time. You will not be disappointed. 12/10!

The whole day was fantastic from start to finish. Ray, from the moment he met us at our hotel, was an amazing guide, friendly, courteous, accommodating and so informative on all aspects of the tour….and much more!!
