De tour begint met het ophalen van je accommodatie in Funchal of Caniço. Nadat je bent opgehaald, ga je richting een van de beroemdste iconen van Madeira, het standbeeld van koning Christus, het eerste standbeeld in zijn soort ter wereld. Bezoek vervolgens Camacha, een parochie met de bijnaam "Het land van het teen", en bewonder de fascinerende meubels en manden gemaakt van teenwilgen met behulp van traditionele technieken. Ga verder naar Pico do Areeiro om het adembenemende uitzicht op de bergen van Madeira te bewonderen. Neem de tijd om dit adembenemende landschap te waarderen en maak wat foto's voor je vakantiealbum. Ga vervolgens naar Ribeiro Frio en kijk hoe de vissers forel kweken, of kies ervoor om een wandeltocht te maken in de beroemde Levadas van het eiland. Reis vervolgens naar enkele van de meest waardevolle uitkijkpunten van Oost-Madeira, São Roque do Faial en Portela, en bezoek vervolgens de stad Machico, de eerste plaats die door de Portugezen werd ontdekt, en we eindigen op het meest oostelijke punt van Madeira, het schiereiland Sao Lourenço.

Het standbeeld werd gebouwd in 1927 en ingewijd op 30 oktober 1927. Gefinancierd door de plaatselijke advocaat Aires de Ornelas en zijn vrouw, gemaakt door de Franse kunstenaars Georges Serraz en Pierre Charles Lenoir. Het standbeeld werd voltooid 4 jaar vóór het standbeeld van Christus de Verlosser in Brazilië.
Het uitkijkpunt Pico do Areeiro bevindt zich op het op een na hoogste punt op het eiland Madeira, op 1.818 meter boven zeeniveau. Vanuit dit gezichtspunt is er een uitstekend panoramisch uitzicht op de centrale bergen van het eiland Madeira.
We stoppen in dit verbazingwekkende verse laurissilva-paradijs om de forelkweek te bezoeken en naar het bos van Madeira te kijken.
We bezoeken het prachtige landschap van het noordoosten van het eiland vanuit dit prachtige uitzichtpunt waar we nog steeds Faial en Pico Areeiro kunnen zien.

Great trip! We had a very informative tour with Marco. He picked up us from our hotel and took us by car to the agreed points and a few more. Marco was very friendly and polite, we would use this company again if we are back in Madeira.
We took several excursions during our stay, but only one with this company. It was the best one of all of them! Richard was a great guide. He was knowledgeable about the island and also gave us great recommendations for local spots to eat. We were traveling with 2 kids - 9 and 7. Richard was extremely patient with them and included them in conversation. My only complaint is that we didn't use them for all of our excursions!

I visited the highest peak od madeira. Pico areeiro was amazing, i enjoyed the views,walk around a bit,as this company allows you to takie your time on all locations. The Ribeiro frio is beautiful with the rainforest. Albo Hood service overrall.
We saw the beautiful Jesus statuę, the first in the world, which i didnt know. The mountain rangę of the island are scary but breathtsking. I would Rrcommend a lot to visit madeira with this Company, they are very profesjonalnie.
