De tour 7 Ausangate Lakes in Cusco 1 Day, is een nieuwe natuurlijke attractie gelegen ten zuidoosten van de stad Cusco, waar u de lagunes aan de voet van de majestueuze berg Ausangate kunt waarderen en bezoeken. We kunnen ook genieten van prachtige landschappen, bergen, flora en fauna typisch voor deze plek. Deze tour is een aanrader voor liefhebbers van natuur en wandelen. De namen van de 7 meren van Ausangate zijn: Pata cocha, Otorongo Macho, Otorongo hembra, Puca cocha, Ccomer cocha, Azul cocha en Alqa cocha. Later hebben we de mogelijkheid om het dorp Pacchanta en zijn thermaal-medicinale wateren te bezoeken.

We beginnen de dag met de pick-up van uw hotel in Cusco om 04:00 uur, en gaan dan naar het pittoreske dorpje Pacchanta, waar we zullen genieten van een voedzaam ontbijt dat ons de nodige energie geeft voor de tour. Vanuit Pacchanta beginnen we aan een wandeling van ongeveer twee uur, waarbij we stijgen naar het uitzichtpunt, waar we de gelegenheid hebben om de indrukwekkende 7 lagunes van Ausangate te waarderen, een van de mooiste landschappen van de regio. Daarna vervolgen we onze wandeling nog drie uur, waarbij we de verschillende meren en hun omgeving verkennen, voordat we terugkeren naar het dorp Pacchanta, waar we zullen genieten van een heerlijke lunch die ons in staat stelt om op krachten te komen na de fysieke inspanning. Als extra optie kunnen we ontspannen in de warmwaterbronnen van Pachanta, bekend om zijn thermo-medicinale eigenschappen. Deze activiteit heeft een meerprijs van S/5.00. Tot slot keren we terug naar de stad Cusco, naar schatting rond 18:30 uur.

What impressed me most was how untouched everything felt. No big groups, just us, the mountains, and the seven magical lagoons ✨. The reflections of the sky in the water were so beautiful that I didn’t want to leave.
This was one of the best adventures in Peru! Being able to take the hike at our own pace was such a plus. The guide gave us space when we wanted to reflect and helped when the trail got steep. Nature at its purest.

I’ve done a lot of hikes around the world, but this one really stands out. The altitude made it challenging, but the guide helped a lot with coca tea and encouragement. The views of the lagoons were totally worth the effort. A must-do for nature lovers!
The Ausangate area is just stunning. The seven lagoons each had their own unique color and view. It was great to do this as a private tour , more personal, and we could stop for pictures and rest whenever we wanted.
