Uw avontuur begint met een schilderachtige rit langs de Adriatische kust, over de grens van Montenegro, en in de baai van Kotor.
Onze eerste stop is Verige, dat een adembenemend uitzicht biedt op de baai van Kotor, waar dramatische kliffen samenkomen met de sprankelende Adriatische Zee, waardoor het een must-visit bestemming is voor natuurliefhebbers en fotografen. De strategische ligging, doordrenkt van geschiedenis, biedt ook een unieke mix van cultureel erfgoed en landschappelijke schoonheid.
We gaan naar het betoverende stadje Perast, beroemd om zijn barokke architectuur en prachtige uitzichten aan het water. Wandel over de promenade, verken leuke winkeltjes en bewonder de prachtige paleizen die de rijke maritieme geschiedenis van de stad weerspiegelen.
Wie zijn ervaring wil verbeteren, kan kiezen voor een korte boottocht naar Onze Lieve Vrouw van de Rotsen, een klein eiland in de baai. Op deze boeiende site vindt u een pittoreske kerk en museum, waar u meer te weten kunt komen over de fascinerende geschiedenis van het eiland en de legende achter zijn oprichting. Het prachtige uitzicht op de omliggende wateren maken dit een perfecte plek voor foto's en reflectie.
Vervolgens vervolgen we de schilderachtige rit langs de kust naar het historische stadje Kotor. Gelegen tussen majestueuze bergen en sprankelend water, Kotor is een UNESCO World Heritage Site bekend om zijn goed bewaarde middeleeuwse architectuur en levendige sfeer. Geniet van een audiogidswandeling door de charmante straatjes, waar u belangrijke bezienswaardigheden zoals de kathedraal van St. Tryphon en de oude stadsmuren kunt bezoeken, met een panoramisch uitzicht op de baai. Voor jagers met het beste uitzicht raden we een wandeling rond de stadsmuren aan of vraag uw gids naar de kabelbaanopties.
De kabelbaan van Kotor naar Lovćen biedt een adembenemend panoramisch uitzicht op de baai van Kotor en de prachtige landschappen van Montenegro, waardoor het een onvergetelijke ervaring is voor natuur- en avontuurliefhebbers. *Deze ervaring moet vooraf worden geboekt, u betaalt op de tourdag. €25

Our tour guide was exceptional today - her name was Ljiljana. A First class experience on our day trip to Montenegro from Dubrovnik. The bus was air conditioned and very clean, and from the start of the day, we were lucky to share the trip with a great group of other visitors from all over the world. Ljiljana was such an intelligent and professional lady to share our experience with - she took us through a history of Croatia, Dubrovnik, Lokrum, Montenegro, Bay of Kotor and so much more. Details about the Croatian wine regions, local food recommendations and great insights into religions, palaces and famous local people. Throughout the tour, we were allowed to explore and enjoy our various stops without being rushed, as we had a clear meet up time. I cannot recommend this tour more to other visitors, however Lijjana made the whole thing an exceptional day overall. Thank you.

Ljalina sorry for spelling was a great tour guide. It was a few hrs sitting in the minivan which was convertible. She knew her history. She was with us most of the time until we got to the old town where we had time to shop & eat. Our only problem with time was border control as there were quite a few large coaches Infront of us & the new laws every passport has to be checked & everyone has to get out & have photo taken. This is one reason why the tour is so long but nothing anyone can do. But it was a great tour

Two outstanding private full-day tours with Gabriel. He picked us up at our hotel right on time each morning, and everything ran smoothly from there. The schedules were thoughtfully planned, with seamless adjustments based on our preferences. We stayed on track while beating crowds at major sites and timing border crossings perfectly. Gabriel was highly knowledgeable, but what really stood out was his ability to read the room and tailor the experience to us. The days felt easy, natural, and genuinely enjoyable. We took part to the Montenegro daily tour, which was consisting on the visit of several places long the Boka Kotorska. The organisation was really excellent and very accurate in all details. Our guide, Mr. Gabrijel, was very available and with pleasure and curiosity let us have short breaks in 2 by us required points, Vila Galeb and the old railway station of Herceg Novi. We left Dubrovnik in the very early morning, at 6 o'clock, in order to reach the border line between HR and MNE before trafic jams and queues could stop the passage. By the way, he accurately explained and told us about the history, the economy, the landscape of the area we were going through and very quickly we estabilished real interesting conversation about Montenegro and its social, geographic and economic features, as we were very interested in. We had a stop in Verige, the narrowest point of Boka Kotorska. Then Gabrijel - because of the rain weather - suggested us to go at first to Kotor, where there were eventually museums and other indoors places to visit; in the afternoon we would have visit Perast, as agreed. We appreciated this recommendation alot, also because we could have a lovely stop in Perast during the sunny afternoon. A great surprise was, when we realised, that we had a dedicated boat from Perast to the Gospa od Skrpjela Isle, reachable in few minutes. When we came back to Perast, we had some free time, in order to visit the lovely place with its fashinating buildings. Gabrijel really didn't check the watch and left us to manage our time, according our desires; moreover he kinsly suggested us a good restaurant, where we could have lunch break. In the late afternoon, we had to come back to Dubrovnik. Instead of crossing the border in Veliki Brijeg, Gabrijel proposed us to reach the Kobila/Vitalijna (MNE/HR) frontier, which is a secondary passage and travelling long secondary and almost unknown roads, from where we could admire phantastic views on the islands before the mouths: this in order to avoid long stops on the border on the main road. We arrived to Dubrovnik in the early evening, as planned. Congratulations to all Amico Tours staff and to our guide particularly!
