Onze tour brengt u vele eye-opening ervaringen. In Damnoen Saduak maak je een leuke boottocht om de legendarische drijvende markt te verkennen, waar je jezelf kunt onderdompelen in de levendige sfeer en unieke producten kunt ontdekken. Je bezoekt ook een lokale kokossuikerkwekerij om meer te weten te komen over het traditionele proces van het maken van kokossuiker en te zien hoe zoutboeren zeezout produceren voor koken en huidverzorging. Op de "risicovolle" markt bieden we een inzichtelijke wandeltocht om getuige te zijn van de "Ongezien Thailand" momenten als verkopers hun kraampjes terugtrekken wanneer de trein nadert.

Ophalen bij hotel en reizen naar de Maeklong-markt.
Het witachtige zoutveld, geen rijstveld natuurlijk. Een speciale bonustour voor onze gasten die deelnemen aan onze drijvende en spoorwegmarkttour in 2020. Dit zeezout wordt geproduceerd door Thaise lokale wijsheid. De zoutboer zal het zeewater in verschillende niveaus laten roteren, passend bij de kracht van wind en zonlicht. De rotatie zal doorgaan totdat het zout een ‘zoutberg’ wordt die klaar is voor koken, huidverzorging en landbouw. Op Highway 35 in de provincie Samut Sakhorn zal onze gids je begeleiden om het zout in je hand te wrijven en geweldige foto's te maken!
De spoorwegmarkt wordt humoristisch de ‘levensgevaarlijke’ markt genoemd! Je zult veel plezier beleven aan het rijden met een lokale trein richting het Mae Klong-station. Terwijl u in deze trein zit, ziet u de ervaring "Unseen-Thailand". Wanneer het treinsignaal klinkt, ontstaat er chaos! Verkopers zullen zich haasten om hun kraampje af te breken en alle goederen op te ruimen die de rijdende trein met grote snelheid hinderen. Zodra de trein voorbij is, zullen alle winkeleigenaren hun kraampjes weer hervatten.
Je zult zien hoe Thaise boeren kokosnectar en palmsuikerbrood produceren. Je zult een demonstratie zien van het snijden van kokosbloemen, het gieten van de nectar in een bamboecontainer, het plaatsen van conserveringshout in de container, het koken en pasteuriseren van de kokosnectar in de drinkbare container. Je probeert kokosmelk uit de kokosnoot te persen met behulp van een traditionele Thaise houten machine met "konijnentanden".
Ga met ons mee op een onvergetelijke reis naar de beroemde drijvende markt van Damnoen Saduak, een van de meest historische en boeiende markten van Thailand. The railway markets were a sight to be seen but it was all very rushed and the salt farm prior was quite uninteresting. My main issue was with the floating market though. It was so crammed full of tourist boats that it was difficult to get through and there was no chance to see what the market was really like, let alone buy anything. The worst thing however were firstly the snakes which people try to throw over your shoulder so that you will pay for a photo, there were so many of them in cages throughout and I’m sure they were either drugged and/or had there fangs removed. I almost cried when amidst all the noise, crowds, confusion and chaos, I saw someone holding a terrified little slow loris for people to take photos with. I’m sure it was not the only exotic animal there and they would all be equally as terrified, snakes included and it is for this reason that I would never recommend that anyone go there and especially anyone who has any love or respect for animals

If you are taking this tour, take it only with Lin and Kevin! They will take good pictures, negotiate with vendors for you, take you to all good places and ensure you have the best of the time!
